The professionalism of the owner Dave, and his entire team was exceptional. Overall, the work was excellent. We did have an issue with the rear porch staining but Dave and his team quickly corrected the problem - a great example of the customer service focus of DGI. I was very impressed with the company and would hire them again.

The crew was professional and did an excellent job. This work was done in December and January and the crew had to work around the weather. Jim Gallant had excellent communication in letting us know which days crew would work and came out to check the work after it was completed.

Exceptional! They returned my phone call almost immediately. then Jim came by the house in the evening and surveyed what I wanted. I had the estimate two days later and it was fair and reasonable especially since I needed a lot of extra patching, sanding, priming and a lot of extra trim painting. I had been getting (what I thought) extremely high estimates from others in the past year. They were able to accommodate my busy schedule and the painting crew arrived on time and on the day that was promised. They were professional, courteous and absolute perfectionists. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

They did an excellent job on the deck. They have done many other projects for us in the past- removed wallpaper, interior painting, and exterior painting. We have always been happy with their work.

DGI painted my exterior trim, etc. about 4 years ago, and both then and in 2015  they did an excellent job. 
They repaired some things left undone by an earlier contractor.
DGI is very responsive at the beginning of a job and upon completion.
I don't usually like to write reviews, but I believe DGI is exceptional.

David contacted me, and I have revised the grade to reflect that.  While my review of the work still stands, I hope that my comments will be taken into account for the future.  To be fair, the guys worked very hard and had a long day, and I definitely appreciated that, but their desire to be complete in one day made them rush through the project at the end.

The workmen came early and worked all day.  They weren't briefed on the scope of the project, so I had to tell them exactly what to do.  They did an adequate job, some areas better than other.  The kitchen coverage is a bit spotty as you can still see the underlying paint color.  Trim work was average, although the rest of the walls are quite good.  However, the most disappointing thing is that they did not provide adequate protection for my floor, and I now have paint in the grain of my newly refinished hardwood floors.  They also got paint splattered on walls they didn't paint, requiring me me touch up these areas as they are not the same color as the splatters.  

I think if they were to take a little more time and care, they would achieve better results.  They seemed rushed to me, especially towards the end, and the work ended up getting sloppy.  

I would recommend DGI with the caveat that, although they will get the job done, but quality is uneven.  My experience is that you should be present during the work so that you can monitor how it's being done, and insist upon proper protection and keep them on task with the scope of work.

These folks were great.  First the price, was $800 less than a quote I received from a Handyman service who said I had to move all the furniture.  DGI moved all the furniture and covered with tarp.  They covered the hardwood floors with plastic.  Paint was exactly the color we wanted.  Fixed all the nail pops and damage to walls and corners.  Used paint brushes and rollers, no sprayer.  These guys were excellent and knew what they were doing.  I would use them again when I have the upper level and ceilings painted.

We needed to have our chimney cap painted at the last minute as a condition of selling our house. We called many painters and no one was able to do it in the short time frame we required - except DGI! They were able to have someone come by and do the small paint job the same day. Amazing service!

This was the third time we've used DGI.  Very good work, very good price--if you can wait.

We've used DGI three times over the years for exterior rotten wood repair and painting.  We solicited bids for two of the three jobs, and both times DGI was the most responsive to our Statement of Work--the most important factor for us.  The work has consistently been very good, the crew courteous and efficient, and the project manager  responsive to the punch list--all for a very reasonable price.  DGI's policy of no money up front and 100% payment upon satisfaction ensures a good customer experience.  In our opinion, these factors combined to warrant an A grade, but there was a down side.

The sole drawback turned out to be lengthy periods without communication:  15 days to get a proposal followed by 10 days to schedule a start date.  The start date slipped about six weeks due to weather interfering with current jobs; while understandable, the updates were infrequent.

Nevertheless, we would certainly use DGI for future jobs, probably without seeking other bids, and we would recommend them highly to others.  If there's no time-sensitive need.

DGI did an amazing job.  These guys are miracle workers when it comes to fixing walls and painting.  They covered everything with plastic and were very neat.  The workers seemed very trustworthy and the owner, David, was definitely trustworthy.  They finished a day early and the final cost was less than the estimate...which was by far the lowest I received.  I will use them again as I am having them do an estimate on another project.

The work was professional and performed in a timely manner.

They did a great job, the workers were on time, and had all the appropriate supplies, ladders etc.  They did a great job!  My deck was filthy and they made it look very clean and nice, and were great about putting everything back where it was when they were finished as well.
The only B rating was that I had to contact them after they did the estimate, it' like they forgot to follow up with me.  Then I had to ask where to send the check after the work was done.  But overall I am satisfied with the work done!
