Creative Plastering Solutions

We own two houses, one in VA built in the 1930's and another in MD built in 1888.  Both houses have original plaster walls -- a real plus in our view!  However, plaster does tend to crack over time.  Also, we had some electrical work done in the MD house, as well as a geothermal system installed there, and both contractors left some (largish) holes in the walls.  The geothermal company also left some of the ductwork exposed.  And that's how we met Rocco.  
We've used a lot of contractors over the last year, as we've slowly begun restoring our MD house and fixing up the VA one to sell.  Most have been good, and if we had to do it all over, we'd hire most of them again.  But without a doubt, Rocco is the best of the bunch.  He's highly skilled at his craft (working with plaster is a lost art), and he really seems to enjoy what he does.  We think of him as a Master of Plaster!  But just as great, his prices are reasonable, he can work us into his schedule fairly quickly, and he's a super nice guy.  He works long hours to make sure everything is done to his exacting standards.  It's so refreshing to see that level of pride in one's work.  We can't say enough good things about Rocco and his company.  Seriously.  If we could give all A+'s, we would.   Rocco also does drywall and framing, so we'll definitely hire him when we're ready to reframe our attic room -- we know that he'll do an equally stellar job.   We recommend this company without reservation -- really lovely work.
