Y & J Renovation

This company was friendly and personable, extremely quick to respond, respectful of our property, and did fantastic work. We hired them to remodel our master bathroom. Their help with choosing tiles and suggestions in general about the bathroom were highly valued and helpful. They were able to do everything themselves (tiling, plumbing, electric). Everything turned out beautiful and the cost was reasonable. They were efficient and finished the bathroom in a timely manner. They care and stand by their work. We could not recommend this team enough. We will be using them in the near future for our other bathroom!

We initially requested a quote through Home Advisor during the 2020 COVID pandemic as we needed someone to update our full bathroom after a previous contractor was unable to complete the renovation.  Peter from Y&J Renovation LLC was the first person to reply back.  We quickly scheduled a call, had a quick chat and I sent him some photos of the bathroom in order to provide an appropriate quote.  Peter promised that I would get a quote that evening - and I did!  I was shocked that a contractor made a commitment regarding prompt communication and actually followed through.  After working with Peter, I learned to expect this level of customer communication which is refreshing!  We obtained a few other quotes for comparison and decided to move forward with Y&J Renovation.  We connected on the schedule, determined the best day to start and Peter was available to continue answering my questions prior to the start date, making sure that all of the materials we had agreed to supply were available and appropriate.  Peter answered all of my questions and I became more confident in our choice after each conversation, prior to meeting him.   The project went great!  Peter and his co-worker, Chi, arrived on time, wore masks when working in our house, were kind and courteous to my family (as everyone was home during the pandemic) but generally kept to themselves and worked hard, asking questions when necessary to finalize details.  When tiling, there was drying time and we asked Peter and Chi to assist us with some other odd and end projects that we had ongoing at the same time which kept them busy and moved our projects along!  Peter also worked with a vendor to find us a granite countertop that matched one we had previously picked out.  The vendor came to our house to complete the install, which included sinks.  We unintentionally ordered the wrong toilet to the house so, after they had installed the wrong one (as we hadn't checked the package), they removed the wrong toilet and came back a few weeks later to install the correct one.  What customer service!   The bathroom was completely renovated in 5 days - everything except for the tub was replaced, painted and updated. I would - and have - recommended Y&J Renovation LLC to friends, families and peers.  They are professional, courteous, communicative, reasonably priced, hardworking, timely, efficient and wonderful to work with!  We are planning on working with them again on another bathroom project.  They are truly amazing at what they do and how they interact with their customers.  

The past projects went very well. The company did a great job, both time wise and quality wise. Y & J is flexible to suggestions and changes. They came everyday and each day the crew cleaned up before they left the site. Very sensitive to home owner. They continue the projects at one household until the projects were done. If exception occurred, they communicated with us ahead of the time. This is one of the best parts (because other companies often come and go as they wish during the projects without telling the house owner, which can drag out projects for a long time). Y & J Renovation is also accommodating when called after the projects. We recently called the company again for some new projects. So far, proposals made and accepted. The company has been really helpful in helping to design and frame the project. Responsive to the calls and requests for assistance. Project will start soon.

The Y&J team did an awesome job! The bathroom looks fantastic. Y&J worked closely with me to ensure that the materials selected for the job were correct and provided a fair estimate for the work. Work was performed timely, and the team went above and beyond to solve challenges that came up during the job. We are very satisfied with the outcome.

The job was done nicely and in timely manner. They finished the job professionally. They worked with us so we can get everything done within the budget.

It went great. Their workmanship was excellent. I must say that Peter is a perfectionist and makes sure the job is done right. He found some additional problems that were not in the original bid but didn't charge me for the extra work. Because of the extra work, the job took an extra 2 days but he had to make it perfect.. No extra charge. I can't say enough about them.
