Rodney is an honest, ethical, experienced professional who goes that extra mile! He even offered to come out late at night to get our furnace running. We had gotten an estimate from another contractor who kept trying to sell us a new furnace. Rodney repaired our furnace at a much lower cost than the other contractor's estimate. The problem was a minor one, not major like the other contractor had indicated. Contractors like him are rare! He has earned our future business!

I got quotes from several contractors, some were bigger chains. They tried to only sell me an entire house system with all the bells and whistles and wouldn't even waste their time sending me info to just replace the outside unit which was the only part broken. R&S Refrigeration listened to my needs, gave me ALL the options, low, middle, and high. His prices were under the big chains, and his service was rapid and oustanding even in the heat. I even had an issue, my own fault, because I closed my vents the wrong way and called him. He came out to my house in a matter of minutes to check on the new unit. He was wonderful to work with.

We felt this company was very honest and did not want to gouge us the price of the product or labor on our install of the AC/Furnace. The job was well done and is the labor is warrantied for up to 5 years. We had 5 bids and this one, by far, was the best choice. I have been in the construction industry since 1976. In that time Rodney with R & S Refrigeration is one of the very few who I have done business with that did what he said he was going to do. He showed up when he said, installed the complete indoor/outdoor heat pump system, the installation was very clean, crisp and professional. R & S takes credit cards so if you are worried about scams your down payment is safe even though after dealing with Rodney that would not enter my mind again. I've had 5 installs done in the last 10 years (five different homes), and Rodney is by far the best. Superb service, superb communicaiton, outstanding price. Does his own work, vice folks that have slash and burn crews. Did great on schedule. Was able to easily handle custom work, and truely was exceptional quality. ironically, I was mentioning at work that I had found a great HVAC guy, and colleague mentioned he also had a great guy who had done work for him -- turned out to Rodney/R&S. i would hire in a heartbeat!

Ever wonder if honest servicemen exist? Well, search no longer. I was told that I needed a new Heater/AC unit by my current service company or spend $700 to fix it. Not only was Rodney cheaper than the quote I got from my current company, he included a free 10 year parts and labor contract. However, after he looked at my current unit, he studied it for a few moments, rearranged my coil and the unit was fixed in about 20 minutes. He�s honest, knowledgeable and pleasant. I no longer need a new unit, do not have to pay for a costly repair, and I found a company that is fair, does quality work, and can be trusted.

Rodney has been great with communication and very accommodating. I have not yet started the project but will be within the next week or so.

Rodney is very personable. He invited me to look over his shoulder while he worked and provided helpful information concerning care of the new system. During the initial "estimate phase" of the job, he is the only one out of 4 contractors who took the time to look at my old system to see if he could temporarily get it running. No luck, but at least he tried and I appreciated that.

Rodney from R&S thoroughly and patiently educated me about which HVAC system best suited my needs and budget. He responded to my phone calls and e-mails in a timely fashion. His final estimate was the lowest (by $2-3 thousand dollars) of the seven price quotes that I received. He did not haggle or pressure me. He simply offered the lowest, most competitive price. When he installed the HVAC system at my home, he showed up on time and worked the entire day without taking a lunch or dinner break. He cleaned up after himself leaving no mess. He was very professional and honest! I would HIGHLY recommend R&S!
