K&E CONSTRUCTION & HOME IMPROVEMENT INC

At first, work was satisfactory & progressed well. But the further into the project the less K & E communicated with us and they made unilateral decisions. We let K & E know several times that we wanted a certain look and were willing to pay additional costs to get the look and treatment we wanted. However, K & E ignored our requests and did what ever they felt was to their benefit. As a result, several jobs had to be redone. Crown molding, which K & E installed, was not done correctly as attested to by other installers and finish carpenters. The molding all had to be reinstalled by another company. Now it turns out K & E did not obtain building permits for plumbing work. Nor did K & E obtain a final construction inspection of the entire project. Part of the bedroom electrical work did not meet code. This required us to have the violation fixed and get another inspection. K & E did not obtain a permit or inspection for the plumbing work they performed for the new bath sinks.
