Genesis Contracting and Consulting, LLC

We have used Genesis often before (we are new to Angie's List so this is our first review) and have always been very pleased with their quality of work and pricing. For our townhouse, the company has previously upgraded our lower level ceiling lighting, installed ceiling fixtures in two other rooms, built two large wall closets in our lower level, and installed a wet bar. The most expensive project at the house was the circa $20,000 upgrade to our master bath. They installed a beautiful glass block wall and ceramic-tiled European walk-in shower in place of the old tub and shower enclosure, re-tiled a portion of the floor, raised our sink cabinets, installed two mirrored medicine cabinets, new lighting and faucets, new towel hangers and hotel towel rack, and repainted the bathroom walls. They worked carefully to avoid mess and cleaned up thoroughly.
The company did work for our church as well, serving as the general contractor for a significant siding project, interior ceiling and woodwork repairs, installation of a custom fabricated steel firedoor, and lighting upgrades inside and out. Their bids were competitive and all work was well-done.
The most recent kitchen lighting upgrade was done quickly and expertly by the company's associated electrician, with finish work done by the company. It follows their installation of a new and much enlarged kitchen island with upgraded drawers and island storage cabinets, and crema bordeaux granite island and kitchen counter tops for circa $10,000 (two granite slabs required).
We highly recommend Genesis Contracting and Consulting for large or small contracting or general contracting work based upon our extensive prior experience with the company.

Company arrived for estimate in a timely manner. Did a thorough job telling us the materials they would use to build our deck, how the process goes and the timeline to do so. They started the job on time. We had a snag once constructed started due to our soil conditions. They worked through the snag keeping us informed the whole time and not charging us more for the additional parts or equipment needed to over come the issue. End result is exactly what we asked for and a great quality.
