,At the end of day two, he announced that the guest bedroom was completed, the kitchen ceiling stripped and primed and ready to be textured in the morning.
After he left my wife and I went in to look at the completed room. He had applied one coat of paint where two was clearly needed. They did not remove the ceiling fan base and when they removed the tape, they took some of the ceiling with it.There were pieces of tape stuck in paint and plaster around the edges of my ceiling. The joint tape around the edge of the room was clearly visible under the texture and the edges all the way around the ceiling were a mess. Neither textured nor smooth and looking pretty awful.
We went to our beautiful, newly remodeled kitchen. There were now deep grooves, lumps and patches of old popcorn ceiling material all over the ceiling. It had all been primed over to be sprayed with texture in the morning. We were very upset.
I called him, told him there was a family issue and to please come get his gear in the morning.
I have decided to do the work myself.
