Please see my original request for service which clearly states what I wanted and did not get: " A plumber referred me to you to have my waste lines traced with a camera and provide the direction and depth along the path." I repeated same on calls.
UPDATE 10/14/2016 This provider is pretending they did not know what I requested to be done. There is clear evidence of the communication in the Angie's List Message Center. After this provider did not provide the service, I had to hire another plumber to do the same work that PW Stilwell did not. PW Stilwell Plumbing & Heating Inc missed a 3 Foot Crack. They did not bring the proper equipment to my appointment to do the work I asked of them and the equipment they did bring did not even work! I am now going to contact my local BBB and attorney general with some information I was given from Angie's List.
"She needs to pay the bill. That is who called in for the service, described what she wanted, authorized the work, agreed to the rates, and signed the completed work order. She wrote on the ticket she wanted the drain lines traced, but didn’t tell the plumber. Our company was contacted by her, not the member, to camera a sewer line in the wall. She thought she had a leak in the wall. She made no mention of any lines in the basement floor at the time of the call. She agreed to the $200 camera fee and the $90 per hour labor rate which included travel time one way in the first hour. Upon our arrival, our technician asked for a signature to authorize the work which stated he was there to camera a line in the wall. She signed that. She then became concerned with the hourly rate and wanted them to leave at 1 hour. She then signed the work order for the work that was done. Upon receiving the invoice, she sent it back w/ a note about her original request for work on Angie’s list. The review that was written is not a true account, we did not receive the work through Angie’s List, and quite frankly I feel that she is trying to use Angie’s List as leverage to get out of paying for something she agreed to. She is complaining about work she did not request us to do ahead of time, nor would have been able to do in the 1 hour she allowed our technician to stay. We are no psychic. Quite frankly, I feel that services that provide online reviews allow customers who want work for free to judge the contractor guilty until proven innocent and you give a forum for people who have no qualms about embellishing the facts a free reign with no basis for fact checking. The contractor looks bad when calling the customer out."
