+ -1 moreI have a "forever fence" that my grandchildren will not have to repair. Mike built such a straight and strong fence. He recommended improvements and upgrades to my original concept that has made my fence such that I don't think a mad bull could possibly get out of it. His lines are straight as a arrow and the fence wire is as tight as a banjo string. He had a difficult site with hot weather, no rain and concrete hard ground. He was able to 'make it happen' and I love my fence. It was a very hard job that Mike made work as best as possible and the outcome was everything I had hoped for and then some. My fence is absolutely beautiful. I sit on my front porch and love to watch the setting sun glimmer off the straight fence lines.
Description of Work: Mike and Kathy Shamblin are a great team. The project was to construct almost 4000 feet of fence with half rounds and livestock/field wire. Mike took such professional care with each and every post. The fenced area included three paddock areas and a large area encompassing a barn. There were numerous corners that were odd shaped. 16 foot and 6 foot gates were hung in numerous areas for a total of ten gates hung. All corners and gate areas were braced with 6x6x8 posts. Every single post hole had almost a whole bag of mixed quickrete in the hole.
