I am very glad Shenandoah Septic worked on my septic field. Mr. O'Connor is very professional and experienced, and got right back to me when I called. He identified the specific issues with my septic field, and solved my multiple problems. Mr. O’Connor did everything he could to limit the time that my system was unavailable and did his best to engage the county right before a holiday. Shenandoah Septic to did the highest quality work with the best materials for the job. I will use Shenandoah Septic again when I need help with my septic system.

Health Department inspector commented on the high quality of the work. He said that he often sees little plastic distribution boxes, and was impressed that the company still used the long-lasting cement box. We had a different company come out and pump the septic tank during the two-week period between the original inspection, the installation of the new D box, and the final inspection by the Health Department. The other company that saw the word being done, said "Oh, we could have patched the crumbling cement in the old D box, and it would cost a lot less."  I knew at that moment that I made the right decision to hire Shenandoah Septic, because they were doing the work the correct way. We are selling our house at the end of the month and I feel happy that the new owner will have a sound system for years to come.

Tom did a great job making the repairs.  The County Inspector approved his work quickly.

Septic system repair is even a disagreeable thought. A homeowner would rather have just about any other problem. When you need septic repair, you really need it and the options seem so bleak. Who can you trust? 
That was the boat I was in a few weeks ago. 
Quite by chance - my neighbor knew of Shenandoah Septic - I called Tom O'Connor. 
The unknown nature of septic analysis and repair - and the looming possibility of tens of thousands of dollars for a new drainfield - made me more than a little nervous at first.
After a few hours, though, I could tell I was in capable hands. Tom's work was so well regarded in my county that he was able to secure the oral permission of the county health inspector to move forward on the necessary repair and then get a final inspection the next day.
I write this review so that the next person will feel as confident in Tom's work at the beginning as I did at the end.

Tom O'Connor from Shenandoah Septic Inc. is my septic guardian angel! I had another local company come to fix the problem...TWICE. The obviously were the junior varsity/rookies as they never actually fixed the problem, never investigated WHY the problem was occurring, nor did they even seem to care about the work they were doing. I would like to think that if I was ever in the septic business I would possess the knowledge, work ethic, professionalism, and quality of workmanship that Mr. O'Connor possesses. He was there to fix the problem. He was NOT there to make a quick buck or put a temporary patch on the problem - only to have it come back to haunt me in the future. 
It is very refreshing today to meet people the likeness of Mr. O'Connor. He is very grounded and reminds me of how men used to take great pride in their work. If I ever need work done on my property in the future there is only ONE PERSON I WOULD EVER CALL. I bet you can guess who that is!!! :)
Mr. O'Connor...there is nothing worse than having a septic system back up into your basement. Yet, you put my family's mind at ease by finding out what was going on and actually fixing the problem. I am confident now that we will never have a clog again as the system has been "reborn" thru the incredible knowledge that Mr. O'Connor has.

We just moved into an older home (1977) that has been renovated on the inside in Leesburg. Less than 2 weeks after we moved in, there was a septic backup and overflow into our basement. Tom was recommended to us by a family member. He came out right away (less than 12 hours) and began working to help us with our mess. He not only found the issues and worked to resolve them, but he gave us a lot of recommendations on how to fix our system in the easiest and most affordable way. He also charged us 1/2 of what others were quoting for emergency services. I would recommend him to everyone and there is no way I would use any other septic service. ~ Jennifer Albert

Tom is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in his field of work.  We have always trusted him and have been very happy with the work he has done for us.  There have been several occasions over the years when I have called him with a question or asked for advice and he is always happy to give me a response.

Tom was great from the start, much cheaper than a contractor who had already pulled the permit and inspected the property months before..for some one else. The permit on file with the county said much more was needed than what really was needed and described the septic system completely wrong. Tom uncovered the tank to find out it was fine and replaced all pipes and distribution box which did need replaced. I need to stress how honest and trustworthy Tom was throughout the whole process and helped us tremendously.  What a great contractor! What a great experience!

Tom from Shenandoah Septic has been out to my property several times.  The first time was to check my septic field on a house that was built in 1935, and has never had any septic work performed since it was originally install.   After video inspection of my system, and jet test we had to replace the distribution box and we had to parge the septic tank.  Tom did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone needing septic work.
