Dr. Horwitz and his staff were amazing. I called to make the appointment when my ankle became sore and started swelling. I didn't know what was wrong as I hadn't done anything to injure it. It simply became sore, tender, and red. The office worker was sympathetic and 'squeezed' me in same day. I did have to wait almost an hour after appointment time, but I wasn't complaining. And, once I was placed in a room I was given a lot of attention. Luckily for me, my ankle was serious and only needed a little TLC. Dr. Horwitz provided me all supplies and instructions and I was able to go straight home and rest my sore foot.

He is fantastic! This man is a trusted doctor in the community and really cares about his patients. His office is closed Fridays, but he often is there to see a few patients that are in need. He takes the time to talk about your issues, concerns, and fears. He comforts you when he is having to administer shots. His staff is friendly. But, be prepared to wait. He accepts Medicare and Medicaid and is very trusted by many families; coupled with the fact that his office staff will fit in as many people as possible in order to help people that are in pain. . .your wait can be anywhere from thirty minutes to four hours. But, if you are in pain, it is better than having to wait a week or more. Highly recommended and cannot say enough good things about this man!
