Took 1000. Of deposit and never produced the new door. Never came back to do the work. We have found out he is in jail on drug charges and non completion of work. Will have to sue for damages - ANGIE’s LIST sent this person here!

His work is adequate but he never worked a full day. Always had excuses why he couldn't stay and finish a project. Would lie about when he was returning and never called to tell us. Just didn't show. Took $1920 in advance to buy heat/air unit to install. Never did and I am still out $1650!! He makes excuses but found out he was working other places and doing the same to them. Will not ever use him again and please be careful. Do not advance any monies until work is completed. My projects would have taken approximately 5-7 days and it took him over 2 months to complete even though he knew I had a deadline to meet. Be careful

They came for appt when they said they would. Promised to perform everything we needed. Price sounded great. Paid down payment for supplies they needed. Then, all of a sudden, poof, NOTHING!! Couldnt get in touch with any numbers we had. I started to panic. So I looked up on Arrest.org and OMG!!! There was his mugshot!!! Multiple charges for taking $ and finishing jobs!!! The lady that handles the phone calls and sets everything up, is in on it also. She doesnt have an arrest record in this county but in others SHE DOES!! I guess that's how they are on this site. DONT USE THEM!! THEY NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF!! They have agreed to refund but we'll see.

April 3rd Billy Morris agreed to a contract consisting of repairing ceiling plaster in my home, ceiling light fixtures and vent fans in bathrooms, shower mixing valve and shower head and handle, a damaged shingle causing a leak, replacing an old pipe boot causing a leak, and replacing chimney flashing. This job was supposed to start April 17th. On 4/17 Chrystal called to ask to reschedule because “something came up.” I allowed it and rescheduled the start date of this 3-day job to 4/20. On 4/20, one they sent one of Billy’s employee’s to my home. I was unaware that there was anyone other than Billy in his business and did not expect someone else. This individual showed up without knowing the job and stated that Billy just told him to come without providing any instruction. The employee started by putting joint compound in my guest bathroom plaster ceiling. This patch up was not the agreed upon method in the contract as the plaster ceiling was supposed to be replaced. When I stated this to the employee, he stated that the patch is just as good and that I did not need to replace the plaster. I said that the contract agrees to replace the plaster, but he refused to do so. The patch job was also horrific and was not sanded and was lumpy. Also in the bathroom, he replaced my glass light fixture over the bathtub with a cheap plastic one. He also did not clean up the bathtub after replacing the light mixture and said “you might want to clean up the bath tub because it got a lot of insulation in it and your daughters might get itchy if they bathe in there.” He then went to the living room where new plaster was supposed to be put in where the cracks were. The employee put a strip of joint compound over the cracks and did a paint brush stroke over it. When expressing my displeasure with this poor job, the employee once again stated that this patch job will do the trick, even though the contract stated something different. I now have long paint stripes all along my living room ceiling. The employee also dropped a tool on my tile and cracked one of them. This damaged tile was not replaced. The employee then went to fix the shower and cut an access wall. He cut a small hole in my wall in the wrong spot and left it there. He improperly installed the shower mixing valve and handle and left the home without turning back on the water line leading to that shower. After the guy left and my wife tried to take a shower, the handle shot off and high pressured water was shooting at her and she was screaming in pain. I had to run down stairs to shut off the water line leading to the shower. For the roof, the guy replaces the damaged shingle with the wrong shingle and in the process, ripped additional shingles in the row above the replacement shingle. He tried to cover it up by putting sealant on the ripped shingle to glue it back together. The flashing was supposed to be replaced, but he sealed the old flashing with the same sealant he used to try to cover up the shingles he ripped. He was supposed to replace a pipe boot causing a leak, but a decided to seal that up as well. I called Billy to advise of the poor job done. Billy promised he would come by the next day to fix everything. Billy came by and instead of fixing the roof first (the source of the leak), he went to my shower. The whole day he was there all he did was attempt to fix the mixing valve and shower handle and fix the access wall. He incorrectly installed the mixing valve and my wife the only temperatures were scolding hot or freezing cold. He apparently also installed the handle upside down. He cut a larger hole for the access wall and that was it. Then he would promise he would come by the next day to finish. He would say he was “on his way” and never show. Then he said the next day. Then the next. Then the next. 3 weeks later and Billy has never come back and he has kept the half I paid upfront. In the end, he took money from me and instead of doing the job, he damaged my tile, installed the incorrect shingle, did not fix my shower, left a hole in my wall, giant paint stripes randomly on my living room ceiling, a giant hole in my guest bathroom ceiling, and left me in a much worse place than before they started. My first experience through Angie’s List was a nightmare.
