I am a regular client. I called in the meds and they were ready when I arrived.

Our 17 1/2 year-old dog had fallen and was unable to get up and walk. We called Companion Animal Clinic, where we have gone for 15+ years and were told to bring him in. After an exam, we had a long and emotional talk with Dr. Downey about what to do. She was understanding and helpful, while leaving the final decision to us. We were present while our little dog was put to sleep and even given some time afterward to be with him. Everyone there was both sensitive and professional.

As I expected.

Everything goes very well. The veterinarians are very capable and the staff is extremely nice. You can tell everyone there really cares for the animals that come in.

I had made a Monday appointment for my dog because she was having persistent diarrhea. The Friday before, I noticed there was blood in her stool. It was 5:40 p.m., and the clinic was open until 6. I hurried over there with my dog to see if they could check her out. The staff was very nice and a nurse came out to give my dog a quick exam. We ended up seeing the vet, who ran some tests for parasites. My dog came back negative for parasites, so the doctor gave me antibiotics and suggestions for food changes. He was very attentive and helpful. The rest of the staff was very nice and didn't act irritated that I had come in right before closing. The fee was very reasonable, too, considering it included emergency after-hours care, testing, and medicine. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here for her regular check ups, as well as our two cats.

This is the only veterinarian that I have taken my dog to since moving to the area in 2006 and am fairly pleased with the service that I have been given. We've seen multiple doctors and all have been great. I am a picky owner and the biggest complaint that I have is the way the phone number for the office was written on the paper collar placed on my dog when she was boarded overnight, it was a little hard to read.... We had a scare one Sunday, called the emergency number and received a call back in minutes with helpful information. We had a family emergency that resulted in the need to travel...quickly...and the kennel was able to accomodate us on a short notice. The average visit cost I have listed is for an annual exam including vaccinations, tests, and heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

I have two house cats. I have gone to this vet practice for the past four years for annual check-ups. When I first adopted one of my cats they took wonderful care of her while she was spayed and the price was very reasonable. They always make an effort to have me meet with the same vet, which allows me to develop a stronger relationship and sense of confidence in the service. The above price is for annual check-ups and vaccines for two cats. I cared for a friend's dog over a six month period (Jack Russel Terrier) and she boarded with them for a week while I was out of town. When I picked her up, she looked great and was not at all stressed.

The staff is very accommodating. 5-6 vets are in the practice. The vets are knowledgeable, some are more personable than others. It's very easy to schedule appointments and get in and out.
