BLUE RIDGE HOME IMPROVEMENTS

I have a contract with them, they are very prompt, and do a really good job. They do great plumbing, and the young man that came to do those service was very thorough. Excellent job all together!

On time with initial appointment and estimate.  The estimate was high but we thought the quality of work would be worth it... it wasn't.  There was a contract which litterally listed anything thing that might go wrong and stating that Blue Ridge would not be responsible for anything that did, the paperwork by the end of the job litterally was the size of a book.  The work took much longer than estimated, the quality was not up to the cost, several mistakes were made and the project was never fully completed.

It was a good experience and we were especially happy with Richard, who was the lead carpenter. He was very careful and put mats down on the hallways where he had to walk. If there was any question at all, he asked us and talked to us about it. He took care of any problems that we've had.

They handled everything in a professional manner and the quality of their work was great.  The price was high but in this case, we got what we paid for.

They have done several projects for us over the years. This last project was fairly major. It was 8 or 9 feet off the ground, building a deck first and then covering it with the porch. It was structurally complex. I thought the price was a little high but I was pleased with the quality of the work. We have no complaints with the workmanship. We did not receive other estimates so I can't say it was out of line. We have received many compliments over the years for the project. They were very professional and competent. It was not an easy project. It was fairly involved. But the workmanship was excellent. We talked with them, they showed us plans and we accepted so they had to work us in to their schedule. We understood we would get in when they were free. In the future I would get estimates first but I would contact them first.
