This work was a subcontract, part of a house re-siding job, so our contact was with the primary contractor. Larry partners with wife Jody (she cuts the flashing for the new windows), and they usually work independently and only in Northern Virginia. Larry Jenkins was punctual, polite, and extremely professional. He took great care to keep noise and mess to a minimum, while still working swiftly and accurately. He even managed to work around a bed of blooming iris without damaging the flowers. Each window was fitted precisely and caulked neatly, both inside and out. He also demonstrated how to tip the sashes inward for cleaning. Buyers should be aware that new windows may take up more space inside the existing frame, affecting reinstallation of interior-mounted shades. We are otherwise very pleased with our new windows.
Description of Work: Removed 14 old double-hung wooden windows with aluminum storms/screens; replaced with 14 CertainTeed BrynMawr II vinyl windows with half screens and sculptured grids. Windows are double-pane, argon-filled, Low ''E'' glass.
