Ordered carpet from Home Depot and they were the installers. Paid $100 extra for them to move the furniture. I had cleared the room of everything small, including all the drawers etc and all they had to do was move out 3 bigger pieces. They did show up as scheduled but with only one person and couldn’t move the furniture out of the room. So, the carpet installation proceeded, the lone guy called in for help and no one came. I called in for help and they were supposed to call back but no one returned my call. Installed the carpet by moving the biggest furniture piece from side to side and installing around it. The carpet didn’t get stretched correctly and had ripples. One wall has dents and scratches in the drywall that I will have to spackle and paint. I called in to complain and even the woman on the phone was surprised, and said they never send a one-man crew on a furniture move. After I complained, they did come back and did stretch the carpet better. They were very nice about it by then and had 3 people here, but none of this should have been necessary. I still need to fix my wall.
