Existing 50+ year old cast iron sewer line from powder had corroded through and was leaking sewage into the crawl space beneath our house. Plumbers' attempts to repair it failed. One plumber recommend installing a sleeve inside the pipe but told us only two local firms did that kind of very specialized work. We called one, East Coast Underground LLC. Butch Elmore came out and surveyed the project. He was exceptionally knowledgeable & professional. Ultimately, he decided that installing a sleeve was not feasible for our situation and recommended replacing the waste line and running a new branch drain line through the foundation wall, through our flower bed to connect with the house main sewer line in the back yard. He also ran a camera the full length of the main sewer line all the way to where it meets the neighborhood main sewer line to determine if there were other issues downstream from our house. There were none seen. We hope the need for these services never arise again, we'd hire Butch Elmore in a heartbeat with whomever he may be working at the time.
