I called many other companies who wouldn't take the job and Decorative Glass Solutions took the job and they did a great job! There was nothing negative about the experience. Although the pricing was a little high, they were the only ones who would take on the job. Overall, it was fantastic and I plan to hire them again.

We had a complicated job and they did excellent work. It was outstanding! It was not just creating, but matching something that was broken. They did a perfect job of matching the color. It was a hard job. It's much harder to fix a piece versus create a new one. They were very upfront with what it would take to do the job. The end cost was less than I expected even. I would recommend them to anyone.

Diane came up with a design that we asked for:  contemporary but not too modern for a "craftsman" style home, clear without color yet providing privacy.  She worked with jaw-dropping speed and efficiency, drawing out a design on the spot.  From the time of our initial call to install was about 10 days.  She was amazingly easy to work with, professional, and fun to be around.  But where she and her husband John really excelled is in how they handled problems after the install.
My husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with how the panels looked.  While it provided the privacy we were looking for, and was contemporary with clean lines, it looked too simple and plain for what we imagined.  This wasn't Diane's fault at all.  She drew up the design, and we signed off on it.  We just couldn't visualize it on paper.  We asked if there was anything that could be done, and without any obligation on her part, she offered to redesign the center panels on the door without additional cost.  We also found a small error in the transom and she fixed that was well.  Fixing all of this required another trip for John out to the house to remove the glass--a seriously painstaking process--taking it back to the shop to be fixed, and another trip back for install, with another painstaking process--yet not even the slightest grumpiness or resentment from John.
The new install made all the difference in the world.  The final product is absolutely gorgeous!
It's always nice when things go perfectly without any blips, but this is seldom life.  For me, it's how someone handles the problems that clarifies what kind of business they are.  Diane and John are wonderful, industrious people who exemplify the quintessential small business model of the quality and integrity that has served as the backbone of our country.  I really couldn't recommend them enough.

I recently was in Summer Classics purchasing some outdoor furniture for our new patio.  I noticed a beautiful beveled leaded glass window hanging in their showroom.  When I asked the staff about the window, They gave me Decorative Glass Solutions' card, and told me to give then a call.  I called them and spoke to Diane, she came out to my house and measured  some of my windows, In a couple of weeks my entry way was transformed by all new custom glass.  The process was one of the best experiences I ever had and I would recommend Decorative Glass Solutions to everyone I know .   My one of a kind windows are beautiful and I love coming home to them every day!

Everything was perfect. Entire process from design to installation was only a few weeks. Diane was great at tailoring design to the decor. Advance, full size drawings and glass samples were provided. Everything was done on the schedule promised. I would definitely use their services again. The glass is amazing.

I contacted Diane Fairburn the owner and we discussed  a home visit to decide just exactly what I was looking for. Within a weeks time we had met and decided what I wanted for my master bath.I wanted the stained glass to go directly over the existing window without removing the original glass. I was so pleased that this was possible. She met me about 2 weeks later with a drawing selection as to my specifications. It was exactly what I had expected. The price was also within a purchasing range. I love the fact that SHE is the artist and does most of this work herself. She also is the person who installs the finished piece along with her husband. My husband and I have been very pleased with the promptness and professionalism of these venors and their company.

It went very well. They were professional and accommodating. It is a husband and wife team. He does the installation and she does the design. I had a specific plan and they were able to stick to that. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
