Finding a "one stop" contractor was challenging. I sought quality roofers (from Angie's List) and had several estimate visits, waiting days/weeks for them to confirm an appointment. Sadly, all said that they could only do the roofing and that the structural carpentry would have to be "subbed-out". This was discouraging, especially since several advertised that they could handle everything in-house. Outside of Angie's List I received a personal referral to Billy Abato at Blue Heron Contracting. Billy was at my home the very next day. He worked closely with our insurance adjuster to ensure that nothing was overlooked. The roofers and carpenters worked together to see that all the work could be expedited and avoid any further damage. Finally, the gutter team arrived and finished the last pieces. All in all, everything matched perfectly, they really cleaned up debris well, leaving no nails at all. All the crews were consistently punctual and diligent. We could not have been happier!

We enjoyed our experience with Blue Heron Construction. Nathan and Billy were
the easiest contractors we have ever dealt with ? by far. Although our job was
small, Nathan and Billy both came to look at the job. The quote was competitive
and Billy?s line by line explanation of the quote convinced us Blue Heron would
do the job right. We were not wrong.
They gave us a start date and a finish date and kept the schedule. Nathan personaly oversaw the job's progress which was reassuring and much appreciated.
Their employees, Garrett and Casey were great. They communicated with us every step of the way. Telling us what they
were going to do and why, making suggestions, and asking for our input. They wasted little time, did artisan like work, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. We couldn?t have asked for a better crew.
With any job, it?s the little things that make it complete. Not only how the corner trim tiles meet, the edges of
the paint trim, finished trim on the inside of the vanity but also the personalities of the owners and employees. Blue Heron Construction has it all.
