We were very impressed with Veteran Pest & Wildlife. We called them because we heard sounds of a raccoon in our attic; we spoke first with the owner, Morgan, who asked a few questions about what we heard/saw, and sent Jonathan within just a couple of days to have a closer look. Jonathan took photos in the attic, discussed those with Morgan, confirmed their "diagnosis" that the suspect was probably a raccoon, and installed a trap; at the same time, he also installed a few mouse/rat feeding stations around the house because we had had some problems before on our very wooded lot. Twice weekly, he returned to the house to check the trap and re-bait. After three weeks we had not caught a raccoon, and we had not heard any activity in the attic; the trap was removed. We were advised that this can occur with raccoons. Having confirmed the raccoon wasn't in the attic anymore, Jonathan repaired the gable vent through which the raccoon had entered. During this same period, we had very clear evidence that a squirrel was coming and going into a first-floor outside air vent that leads to a metal wood-burning fireplace. They did confirm that there was a squirrel and in fact were able to trap it "on the fly" as it emerged from the vent. By the way, the bait stations do show signs of rodent activity, so those were worthwhile.

James was excellent. Removed the bird nest from the soffit and blocked all further bird entry points. He is definitely knowledgeable in all types of animal removal. I highly recommend Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services.

Great. Aaron Aiken was very knowledgeable. Checked attic, vents, even under beds. Said it was not a dead animal. Pointed us to a plumbing problem with easy fix. He was great. Did find and remove two very e dead birds in attic (not source of odor.)

They came out on a Sunday and made sure the squirrel was out of the area and sealed it up. They were fantastic!

My phone call was answered right away. I had a very informative discussion with the individual who answered the phone (can't remember his name) as he answered all my questions thoroughly. The day the technician was schedule to come, he called to let me know he would arrive in about 1/2 hour, which was within the schedule timeframe. He took pictures of inside the vent so I could see what was there and cleaned it out (the bird was not there at the time but the nest and droppings were) and sprayed pesticide for bird mites. He then put a cover on the vent. I have several more vents on the outside and he indicate it was not worth the cost of covering the vents that were about 1 foot off the ground since birds will not go in those since the are too low. He could have easily told me they needed covering and charged me more but was honest about it. Both the individual I spoke to on the phone were polite and professional. I would use them again if I have other issues with wildlife inside my house.

The molding on one side of the garage door is where they got in. The person that came out didn't stop until they went all around my home.

The Technician from Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services did an excellent job. He inspected the attic and roof, found a gap below the chimney grate where a bat gained entry into home, and put wire mesh over the gap so that a bat could not re-enter home. Would highly recommend Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services - they are excellent.

These folks were helpful and professional. James took a lot of time and care removing the nesting materials and the couple of birds that didn't make it out of the dryer vent. He then disinfected everything and covered the outside vent. When I got my ducts clean, they took a photo showing some more nesting material. When I called, they sent James back out and he took care of it and reinstalled the screen for the vent. They also worked with my schedule, which was supremely helpful.

Instead of providing a quote, they performed the service and sent a bill, but didn't provide any sort of report on the problem. I requested a report of the issue on May 19, but didn't receive anything until June 7 (after at least two calls requesting information). I have no idea if it was composed from memory or if the tech referred to notes taken the day of the service.

I called them and they said they could come remove the dead deer in about two hours. They arrived promptly and took the dead animal away. We were very relieved and felt the price charged was fair. I hope this doesn't happen in our yard again, but if so I would definitely call this company again!

They did a good job. When I had a question they came out to check first area again for no charge. Birds moved to adjacent system, they returned,, eliminated these birds and covered all vents so the birds could not return. Second trip was less money/

I can't say enough great things about Morgan and Patrick. Not only did their bid come in 75% LESS than the next highest, it was without a doubt the most efficient and professional. Every concern I had was addressed (they even dropped off odor bags to clear out remnants of odor from the basement) and they back up their service with a 6 month guarantee on the skunk removal and a 5 year guarantee on the fencing. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again - just an all around great company with great employees!

They were outstanding from the start. We discussed what was going on over the phone, and after coming out to look the situation over, we decided it was probably a groundhog (possibly a fox as I had seen some recently). A trap was set and the catching began! We (they) got a skunk, a opossum, another skunk, and finally a groundhog. I let the opossum go as they're not relocated (euthanized), but the rest were relocated. FYI, groundhogs are pretty friendly - I fed him while we were waiting for his pickup (it was the weekend). I was not charged extra for the skunks, even though they do cost more if that's thought to be your issue (understandably). I really want to express this - a real friendly HONEST bunch. Helped renew my faith in people.

I always call Morgan FIRST. Great person, outstanding service and response. Always my go to company for pest concerns. Referred Morgan to neighbors with similar responses. He thoroughly explains the situation, my options, and expected results. James came today and provided the same level of advice and assistance. First rate.

So initially I had suspected there was a skunk living under our front porch since a few weeks back there was the tell tail smell of skunk spray that had permeated in our house. We had noticed signs of an animal digging in our front yard and around the corner of the porch. My husband had filled in the hole and the rocks and dirt got promptly removed by the critter. The skunk spray I couldn't deal with. After getting another estimate I called Morgan and they were able to send someone out the same day and the estimate was much lower for the scope of work. Well after nearly a week, the trap door was closed. My husband called Morgan on a Sunday and they did send someone out to take the trap and set up a new one. Lo and behold it wasn't a skunk but instead we found out later it was a 25 lb raccoon. Clearly the raccoon was eating good in our neighborhood and nesting out under the porch. That would have explained the remove of the end of our downspout over the summer. Next up they're going to back fill the hole and see if there's more activity for the next couple of weeks. They also provided recommendations on keeping critters out so we'll likely have them come out to do that work too. But I'm somewhat relieved there wasn't a skunk living under our porch.

Morgan and company were very professional, timely and successful! We had approximately 50 bats roosting in the space above our second-story bathroom. They were removed successfully and with no disruption. Veteran's was the third estimate we received and we hired them based on price, professionalism, knowledge and overall confidence in their ability to do the job and be thorough. Great. Morgan responded very quickly, scheduled an inspection and an employee showed up on time. Inspection was thorough and quick. Only glitch was when report was sent it indicated we had an obstructed basement where we have no basement or crawl space at all. Morgan sent new report immediately.

This is a company that exhibits all of the best qualities one could hope for in a service provider - quickly assessing the extent of the damage; recommending a plan of action to address only necessary actions (not up-selling expensive, unnecessary steps); competently, promptly and reliably performing the services; and exercising great care and integrity in the performance of services.

An adorable black squirrel that had become a source of joy to our family decided to try to try to move into our house. We were very attached to the little fellow, but did not appreciate the holes that he was gnawing in the wood trim or the tears in our window screens that he was creating with his little squirrel claws. We also feared that he would find his way into the attic and start chewing on electrical wiring. With great sadness, we knew that he needed to be relocated before further damage was done. We called a couple of companies recommended on Angie's List that came to the house, and, without fully assessing the extent of the damage caused by the squirrel or determining whether or not the squirrel had entered the attic, they recommended attaching gutter guards, which would have been expensive and would not necessarily have solved the immediate problem. Then we called on Veteran Pest & Wildlife Services. The owner showed up promptly, took pictures of areas where the squirrel had been spotted, determined that the squirrel had made its way into a soffit box, but not into the attic, and proposed a very reasonable, targeted solution. He and his associate set a trap for the squirrel and, once trapped, took great care to relocate it to another area where it could safely find another home. They subsequently repaired the damage that the squirrel had caused to the soffit box and roofing at the top of our 3-story house. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a reliable, humane and reasonably priced solution for wildlife removal and related damage repair.

After hearing scratching/gnawing noises coming
from inside the wall of an upstairs bedroom, I contacted Veteran Pest &
Wildlife.  After an initial confusion
about the date of the appointment, Morgan came out, identified the "beast
in the wall" (my words) as probably a squirrel or possibly a rat and
inspecting the outside of the house found the entry point (a damaged part of
the roof line at the gutter).  He
returned with an assistant, determined the beast was not in residence when they
were here and sealed the access point to prevent it from getting back in.  The wall has been quiet since then.  They also put out bait for rats and mice in
the attic and outside around the house and sealed an opening where mice were
probably getting in the house.

We had no idea what was digging under our front steps but our front pavers were sinking and nothing my husband tried was working.  We called Veteran Pest & Wildlife and they set up a humane trap in our bushes.  The first skunk was a surprise and he got it to his truck without it spraying.  He said there maybe another skunk and he got the second one to his truck without it spraying too.  The opossum he called opportunistic because it probably just went in the empty skunk nest.  It took about a week to catch everything.  These guys were worth every penny.
