On 13 August Winston had a seizure while being groomed. Sarah quickly made certain that he was not in a position to injure himself. As the doctors were alerted in the hospital building next door, she carried Winston by herself across the parking lot to the hospital to insure he quickly received medical treatment. This was not an easy feat, since Winston is a good-sized dog. Fortunately, Winston was fine after treatment, but we were very grateful for Sarah's quick action and obvious concern. In addition to being a top-notch groomer, she definitely cares for each of her clients. We recommend her highly!

The Stream Valley Veterinary Hospital is awesome. One of the dogs has been diagnosed with lime and they've been very helpful with the treatment and everything. The only kind of negative is that their office is kind of small so it can be a little bit cramped. They do what they can to get you in but sometimes it takes a week or two to get an appointment. If it's an emergency they will fit you at. I tried a couple of different clinics and the reviews on this one were the best. The other ones that I tried they ended up not being as good.

We have recently moved, so I was looking for a new vertrinarian. I found Stream Valley on Angie's List. It is a little out of the way, but the staff was caring and gentle with my cat. I appreciated they did not try to push additional services. I had a fifteen minute wait for the Vet to see us. Not horrible, but a shorter wait would be nice.

Wonderful vets and staff. Up-to-date on animal care research, too. Overall "A" despite relatively high prices. Vets are knowledgeable and ready with advice. Front desk staff is efficient (dogs love to visit). B on punctuality only because THEY WILL HANDLE EMERGENCIES FIRST. Appointments therefore must wait and techs/staff will get you and your pet(s) settled into an exam room to wait. This, however, is an absolute plus! No reservations about Stream Valley Animal Hospital.

I have been with them for four years. They are excellent. I give them A's all across the board.

They are the best veterinarian clinic that we have ever used. We take all our animals there. We will continue to use them.

I only had one visit but I felt okay with them. They were better than the other veterinarian that I went to. I felt better. They called the other veterinarian and had them to fax over the blood work. They pretty much followed up where I had left off with the other people by looking at the blood work. They also called over to our old vet in Maryland and had them fax over all the latest vaccine and injection information about my dog. They did an initial health thing from all of that which I also had paid for with the other vet. They prescribed an inflammatory medication for me which was the top most part of my goal. They were more in tuned to what was going on and more professional. They seemed very kind. They have been fine from my experience so far. I have another cat and dog that I will be taking to them. I cannot go shopping for doctors as it costs too much. It seemed like a very nice practice. There were three doctors and it was very comfortable. They do a lot of services there. I have two toy poodles that I can take there for their hair cut and all kinds of services. It is a very comprehensive place as far as services are concerned. I am actually getting ready to cancel where I have been going to for dog grooming who have been very good too.

This boarding/vet experience left us less than happy. The boarding resulted in our dog becoming sick near the end of the stay. The illness required vet services. We are fine with that process but even though Stream Valley had our cell phone numbers and an emergency contact in the local area Stream Valley area, they did not contact or even attempt to contact us about our dogs illness or the treatments required. Only when we arrived to take our dog home were we informed that she was still ill and required monitoring. I find this less than acceptable. Also, even though Stream Valley treated our dog without consulting us and it was very expensive they would not give us their "vet customer rate." I find that unbelievable. They continue to send us notices about our dog's future treatments as though we are regular customers even though we state that they are NOT our primary vet.

Was seen on time, and overall experience was fine. Vets can tend to be a bit condescending. Techs are wonderful with the animals, though. When I went to pay, I had another test to pay for that I had not authorized. Rather than argue, I paid. Be aware of this!
