Steve was great!  He promptly emailed me back after my initial inquiry.  On the phone he answered all my questions and gave me a run through of what he will do and how long it will take.  On the date of the appraisal, he arrived on time and was very courteous and friendly and put me right at ease.  The entire process took no time at all, and he promised me a week turn around and delivered on time.  I highly recommend and would not hesitate to hire him again.  Job well done.

Steve has been appraising for many years. I have used him on several occasions and have been very happy with his level of service and responsiveness.

He did the appraisel and was to send the results by that Friday.  I did not reveive the resulte until the following Wednesday, which was outside the timeframe I need to make a decision.  Steven indicated that he had come internet connectivity problems and could not get the appraisel to me as requested.  I understand the probles since I to have Comcast.

     During my husband's and my ongoing home refinance, we discovered on somewhat short notice, the need to have our own appraisal done.  It was a Saturday.  "Angie" listed less than a handful of appraisers; one with a poor rating; the other was not picking up their phone... 
     I popped open our yellow pages, phoned several appraisers in our area - all were away from their phones.  Steven L. Young's answering machine offered an 'emergency' mobile phone number, so I called it, and left a message.  Mr. Young returned my call promptly, and helped me set up an early appointment for the following Monday.       
     Mr. Young showed up on time, and was professional, inspecting our home inside and out.  He made no promise to deliver the appraisal sooner than our Closing date, explaining it was a lengthy process.  
     The multi-page appraisal document came early the next day (today)!  He must have sacrificed some sleep for us.  We truly appreciate his service and effort.
