We used this mover because they had good reviews and gave a lower estimate than another company. Never again would I use the services of this company. This was the worst move experience ever. As I wanted the most accurate estimate possible, I requested an in-person visit to assess what was required for our move. I showed Amine everything that needed to be moved, including opening the closets and showing him the storage space. I also told him that the distance from the elevator to the apartment we were moving to was much greater than where we moved from. At that time, then on the phone and again by an email, I stressed the need to complete the move by 5:30 P.M., as required by the building. When I received the estimate for providing two movers, I questioned whether two would be enough since four movers did our previous move. He assured me two were enough. Not only was I charged over $400 more than the estimate, but since they did not finish until 7:30, I had to pay $150 to the building for going way past the time permitted. Because they finished so late, they did not finish putting all the furniture back together. Also some items were damaged, but that was ignored in the mover's response to my emails. I contacted Amine on the afternoon of the move to say I was worried the movers would not finish in time, since they still had not moved everything out of our apartment. I also let the movers know about the time deadline. He should have sent additional help when it was clear it was needed. He did not send 2 more men until around 5:30, when they were supposed to be finished. Not only were two movers not enough for timely completion of the job- the truck was too small to fit our belongings. However I was not aware that they did not move everything they were supposed to move until I returned to the old apartment. The movers did not tell us how much they left behind. We had to make several trips back to our apartment to get everything for which the movers did not have room in the truck. I requested, at minimum, the $150 I had to pay for the elevator late fee, not to mention if I had gone with the previous company, they would have done the job correctly their estimate was less than I ended up paying. I received $100 refund- not enough for me to give a higher rating.

Of the moving companies I contacted, Amine was the only one who offered to come to my home to look at what I was moving and give me a free estimate. When I said I wanted to use his company, he dropped off several moving boxes several days before my move. About a week before my planned moving date, I learned I would need to change it. Amine accommodated my change. On moving day, three movers arrived within their half-hour estimated time window with a large U-Haul. The movers were professional and efficient, and I was pleased with how my belongings were treated. The move was completed about 2 hours faster than the original estimate, so the final price was lower than estimated.

I cannot recommend Amine Fettar and NovaMovers highly enough. I was faced with a last- minute move from Virginia to Maryland. Amine let me know immediately that they could do the job and set my mind at ease. Amine is easy to reach and answers the phone himself. He was in contact throughout the move to make sure everything was going smoothly.

His crew arrived on time the next day and did an expert job of wrapping and loading my furniture onto the truck. They worked quickly and were polite and professional. They handled my things with care and were able to fit everything expertly into a small storage space, saving me money. The entire job was completed in less time than I anticipated and cost $200 less than the estimate I was given.

I plan to hire NovaMovers again in a few weeks to complete an additional move. I highly recommend them to anyone who seeks a stress-free move at reasonable prices.

I've used NovaMovers for 3 different moves so far. Amine and his team have always showed up on time. They do a great job at moving things in a timely manner. I also don't think you can do much better in the area for the prices that they charge. I plan on using them whenever I need to do another move.
