M.C. Fence and Deck

GREAT!!

Fence:
All the materials showed up just a couple days before work began.  On the day of the job, we reviewed the fencing layout one last time and I pointed out sprinkler heads and other cabling that might interfere.  I had asked that if something is cut, just to please let me know so that I could get it repaired.. (nothing was damaged during the install).  The crew got busy and had our fence installed in around four hours.  90% of it I'm pleased with, if I had any gripes it'd be that they just stacked up all the rocks from the posts at the base of the fence and they installed the pickets by 'eye ball' causing some very noticeable misalignment that I'll have to fix later.
Deck:
Had a couple guys just show up and walk around back to observe the fence, no warning or anything... surprised and startled my wife a bit.  I spoke to them about the job and they took some pictures of the two decks and stairs, then said they'd get started on Tuesday since Monday was Memorial Day.  Come Memorial Day my wife again is surprised by two guys that start unloading equipment into the back yard - I walked out to see the same two guys and reminded them that work was supposed to start on Tuesday as agreed.  We were entertaining that day due to the holiday, so no work could get started; I had them return on Tuesday.  Tuesday arrived, they showed up and power washed everything down... Tuesday night we had a bad storm, so I figured they'd stain a couple days later.  However, arriving home from work on Wednesday all of the decking and stairs was stained.
Now that it's been a couple days, I've noticed large spots of dead grass around my deck in my back yard from the deck guys equipment.  I'm just a bit annoyed that again there is something that needs to be fixed, besides re-aligning some pickets.  I don't think a 'B' is bad, that job was completed on time for a good price - just it's not 100%.
I wasn't necessarily looking for the cheapest contractor, just looking for one company that could do both jobs - next time, I'll put more effort into gathering more estimates.  I was recently burnt by another contractor that forced me to rush this job, never do that.

We love our fence and stairs. We worked with Matt and he was true to his word --they did a great job with top materials. Our neighbors loved our fence so much they put one in too with MC Fence and Deck. They gave us good price and honored the price from quote to finish. The wood they used was far superior to what the builder had put up on other homes in our area. They put the fence up in one day and cleaned up after themselves. They were so great to work with that we plan to have them put a deck for us soon.

MC fence builds a great product. The crew was on time, and worked fast.Prior to starting work ,the crew put stakes at the edges of our property and ran a string down to each one. We opted to build right inside of the property line, and we could visualize where everything was going to end up that way. Any questions or concerns were answered prior to them starting. They were done in one afternoon and cleaned their mess before they left. Matt and Mike both came by at various times during the day to check on things, and followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure we were happy. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone who asks, and would not hesitate to use them again if the need ever arises.

Material arrived promptly, day of install workers arrived on time and took extra time with me to verify all the sprinkler head locations. They were very thorough and after 8 hrs I had a beautiful board on board privacy fence with two gates. No stress installation, everything went very smoothly due to their diligence Would highly recommend !!!

The crew did a nice job.  They took down my old chain link fence and hauled it away. Then the next step was to locate the 4" x 4" posts making sure they were level.  They installed the stringers making sure they followed the lay of the land.  This is a wooden fence with a shadow box design.  They installed the boards on the outside of my yard making sure to take care of my plants and my neighbors plants.  I have a lot of flowers around the perimeter of my backyard and they were careful not to harm them.  When the job was completed they cleaned up everything nicely.  My fence looks great!
