There was some initial hiccups, but the vendor was very responsive to my concerns and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction.  I found the staff exceptionally professional and courteous.  I would definitely use them again.

It was excellent. From the very start Steve was extremely accommodating, helpful, and insightful into the project. He was understanding of our financial limitations and our individual needs. Unlike many other contractors we got estimates from, Steve was focused on helping us determine what we wanted rather than upselling us (for example, my wife and I are both under 5'6". We didn't need cabinets that go to the ceiling when we barely used the top shelf or normal height cabinets as is). Throughout the whole process it was absolutely clear that Steve's primary concern wasn't simply making the most off the project that he could, but in providing a kitchen that fit our budget while also looking beautiful and matching the idea in our head.
His employees were amazingly professional and courteous. I can't stress this part enough. My wife works nights so usually sleeps till 10:00 or 11:00 most mornings. Despite us telling them to go ahead and work how they normally would they went out of their way to structure their days to do quieter tasks in the morning as much as possible until she was awake. Steve, and his employees, were always responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. 
I can't recommend mastercraft enough. Steve's prices came in a bit higher than some of the other companies we received estimates from, but the level of service was WELL worth the little extra. Even then, Steve went out of his way to find any and all ways to possibly shave a few dollars off the final total cost while still maintaining the design and style we were hoping for. If you're in the Loudoun area and are looking for a remodel I would definitely suggest giving Steve and Mastercraft a call. 

Mastercraft was able to figure out a way to salvage some of the footposts to save us a little in replacement costs, and also gave us an estimate for both traditional wood vs. composite materials for the decking itself. They completed the project in less than 1 day, and were able to complete the job while we were at work. We are extremely happy with the finished product, their customer service, and responsiveness. We are considering a kitchen remodel next spring, and they will be on our short-list. Great experience from start to finish. Reasonable price and excellent craftsmanship.

To limit the amount of disruption to our normal routine, we decided to have the hall bath worked on first.  That way we had one fully working bathroom on that level (a huge issue when the only other shower was in the basement 2 levels below!).  A two-man team, plus a tile master, was dedicated to our job throughout the project.  Demolition was quick and efficient, and the area was cleaned up EVERY SINGLE DAY!  Tiling in the shower started right away because the custom sliding glass doors could not be measured for until the tiling around the tub was complete.  Everything proceeded smoothly and on schedule; the only disruptions were when my husband and I failed to make a timely decision about our choice of wood color for the vanities, and when our daughter decided at the last minute that she wanted a different set of fixtures for the tub and sink.

Once the hall bath was complete, demolition and work began on the master bath.  Due to the nature of the tile we chose, progress was a bit slower, but we understood the situation and had no problem allowing for the additional time.  Again, everything proceeded smoothly and on schedule.

Every step of the way Steve was in contact with us making sure everything was moving along as expected, asking if we had any questions, and assuring us that he and his crew were available whenever we needed anything.  He kept us up to date on delivery schedules, nudged us when we owed him decisions (wood color, paint color, etc.), and stopped by often to see for himself that the job was going well.  We could not be more pleased with the work that was performed -- from the placement of the fixtures to the detail work of the tiling!!

Their prices are a little bit higher than average but you get what you pay for.  The owner is very honest and fair.  He will go the extra mile for his customers.  Most importantly, though, he knows the codes and has great craftsmanship in addition to knowledge about structural engineering.  Every step of the way he has been professional.  I would definitely recommend him to others.

Mastercraft was awesome! They diligently worked with us to come up with a design that utilized the new space efficiently. Their carpentry skills are tops notch. My carpet guy even commented on how good everything looked! I got 3 quotes and Matercraft's price was in line with their competitors. However, what is not in the price that sets them apart is their honesty. Steve (the owner) was willing to show me prices for anything I added to the job. He did not "nickel and dime" me for small changes I made. They treated my house as if it were there own by spending the end of each day cleaning up, which when your house is a construction zone for months is appreciated. They said my job would take 3 months and they finished 2 weeks early! I would highly recommend this company.

It turned out beautifully! They were friendly to work with and communicated easily. They had a large selection of options to chose from as well. They offered high quality work at a reasonable rate.
