Prior to his career in real estate, Brian held various roles in corporate finance & business development and holds an MBA from Auburn University, Montgomery, AL & a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the State University of New York at Geneseo. Brian is an avid long distance runner & brings this same philosophy to serving his clients. Simply put, you can’t cheat a marathon. Success is in the details. While we have bought and sold a number of houses, Brian's level of professionalism and excellence is beyond comparison. While he has many great qualities such as being analytical, trustworthy, hard-working and responsive, he is above all patient with his clients. His patience shows through early in the process when comparing properties to determine a price; when determining what elements of the home to repair or improve or accept as is; when running open house(s); and finally in the offer acceptance and closing phases of the process.
To start, we interviewed a number of agents to find one that we felt could really sell our house while still maintaining a relationship of trust and confidence with us as sellers. Although a few agents seemed a possible fit, and one in particular interviewed well and came highly recommended, Brian won out because of his level of preparation (he came with an extensive book of research on the property) and a style that meshed well with our own.
Being set back in the woods off a long sloped driveway, we knew our property might take a bit longer to sell because it would not appeal to everyone -- but we knew it would strongly appeal to the right buyer. Brian worked with us driving showings until the right buyer saw the home. During this process Brian not only held the necessary number of open houses, but he interviewed and provided feedback from each and every party that viewed our home. It was this feedback coupled with his analytical approach that made us comfortable in our decision right up to and through closing. And it was at closing that we also realized that this patient person could also be a dogged negotiator, a wealth of needed information, and strong advocate for us as sellers.
Although he was only our listing agent as we were building a new home, we feel confident his strengths as a buyer?s agent would be equally superior. We have never felt strongly enough to write a review on Angie?s List before, but our experience was so positive that we unequivocally recommend Brian and Living Realty if you?re thinking about listing your home.
