They are the BEST!  They are just tremendous!

I love Lagana Floor Services. These guys are perfectionist. They really did great work. They’re on the pricey side but their work was okay.

He and his son are meticulous and he goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy with the results.  He makes every effort to be very careful with moving furniture around and will treat your home like it were his own in terms of protecting your walls, and belongings.  He keeps up with new materials on the market.  His last project for us was the basement and tiled our guest bathroom.  We had a floating floor in the basement (we like the look of wood) and with the 3rd incident of water damage we considered putting tile down instead.  However, Jeff suggested a new material that looks like hardwood, but goes down sort of like linoleum (made by Adura).  We will never have to replace that floor again due to water.  It looks fabulous.  Great material for a basement.  Can't say enough good things about Jeff, his son and his company.

Jeff did high quality work for a very reasonable price. I would absolutely hire this company again.

Jeff Lagana had installed hardwood floors throughout the main level of my house, stairs and upstairs hallway in 2003.  So, when we needed to have the damaged floor repaired I called Jeff to get a quote and make sure that he could do the work.  Jeff needed to repair not only the hardwood floor but had to level the subfloor to make it even with the rest of the flooring.  Even though this job was not big, Jeff came out, gave me a quote and we worked to schedule the job for when he was in my area as mine was a small job.  Not sure if I wanted to wait till Jeff could come out I contacted another installer that was not even willing to come out to give me a quote to repair such as "small area".  Once we were able to schedule the job, Jeff and his son did the work beautifully.Even though it took a while to match the old to the new floor because the old floor had been finished with products no longer on the market today, Jeff and his son worked tirelessly to match the old to the new floor, even preparing multiple samples to show me and make me choose from.  Jeff and his son were extremely professional and the old floor matches beautifully well to the new area.  We will call Jeff and his son for any flooring needs in the future.

The whole process of dealing with J. H. Lagana was very good.  They gave me a fair price for the job, were professional during the work period and responsive to any questions or requests that I had during that time.  I definitely will use them again.

The experience of having the floors installed in 1993 could not have been better.  The crew and owner, Jeff Lagana, were great to work with, very knowledgeable and professional.  I have every reason to believe that the same high level of workmanship will be experienced when they come in Sept. to install more floors in my home.  I will add to this review after all of the work is completed, and I fully expect that I will also be very pleased with the workmanship on the new floors.

He came out, measured and walked through the process with us. It has been good as far as it has gone so far. I think he’s been responsive to any request or information. He was prompt.

We would not use ANYONE but Jeff Lagana's team to touch our hardwood floor. Jeff installed our custom Tiete Brazilian Rosewood 5+ years ago and he did an amazing job. We are in the middle of renovating our kitchen and family room and Jeff had to come back to patch up the floor to match the new design... well it looks amazing. His team has been with him for 18+ years. He is very attentive to details and every floor he installs is a work of art. It's very hard to find anyone these days that actually care about their work , who is honest and wants customers to be satisfied. That's Jeff Lagana. He might be a few hundred $$ more then your other quotes but don't be fooled. If you want your floor to done right you want to make sure you pick a team that will deliver your dream hardwood floor.

After water damaged our hardwood floors, the insurance company sent another hardwood floor company to resurface and refinish our American Cherry hardwood.  In short, the first company ruined our floors.  After repeated, failed attempts to fix our floors, we insisted that the insurance company bring in somebody else.  Lagana was brought in, and our floors went from horrible looking to better than new in about ten days.  These guys are some of the most conscientious contractors we've ever dealt with.  While our first flooring contractor got sawdust all over the place, including our furnace vents, Lagana cleaned the work site daily, and cleaned from top to bottom after sanding was complete and before refinishing began. He insisted this was necessary so sawdust wouldn't get mixed in with the stain and clear coat.  Further, he was a perfectionist-- getting down on hands and knees to ensure all imperfections were removed before applying the refinish.  He went the extra mile, then another mile, and then another mile, to make sure our job was done right.  You could tell he has pride in his work-- it's a family owned business and they still care about their reputation (father and son).  His work is as good as it gets-- he gets our highest recommendation.

They are very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and did a really good job.

We were very pleased with them. The price was reasonable. It was an all positive experience. They delivered exactly what I wanted. We would hire them again. I intend to use them in the future.

We had the Laganas (actually a father and son, both named Jeff) refinish the floors in our just-purchased home before we moved in. The elder Jeff is "old school" and does not use email or a web site, but this guy really knows what he is doing. We initially had some trouble scheduling because some of his people were sick, but the work was done by our scheduled move-in date. The floors are absolutely gorgeous and to this day I still marvel at the quality of the work. Many people comment on how nice they look. Our house was built in 1964 and has red oak on the entire upper level and stairs. The previous owner had almost the whole upper floor carpeted so the floors were in pristine condition. Nevertheless, holes left by the tack strips, etc were filled with precision and the floors look brand new. We are super happy with the quality of the work. Jeff agreed to a last-minute request to tile our small foyer for an additional $400 (included in above price). We highly recommend his services, you won't be disappointed.

This guy is a real pro that knows what he's doing. Been in business over 30 years. Showed up with 4 people, cleaned up everyday, in and out fast. Best contractor experience I've had.
