It took about two weeks for the installation to happen, granted when I signed up that is the earliest they said they could do it, and they did show up on time, however I feel waiting two weeks to get internet setup is a bit long. Once the service was up and running, was when the real problems started. I ran speed test via several online speed tests to see if I was getting the speed I signed up for. I found that I was only getting 1 to 1.5 Mbps, less than half of what I was paying for. When I called in to ask what was up, they said they would have a tier 2 check the settings on my account. I did receive a call back a few hours later from the tech saying everything should be good to go and I then started receiving about 2.5 Mbps... for about a day, and then the speed dropped back down. It appears that every time I call in they have to have a tier 2 tech fixes something and then I get decent service for a little bit and then it drops down, and of course this is only when I can get a hold of their customer service. I now realize that their customer service is not 24/7 as one has come to expect from ISPs, instead it is very limited. During the week they are open till 9PM which is decent, but on the weekends they are barely open, and I get the message that says we're sorry but our offices are currently closed please call again later, with no way to leave a message for a call back. When you do call in during business hours, the hold time is normally very long from 10 to 30 minutes. They do have a feature that ask for your phone number and says that you will receive a call back and you will not loose your place in the queue. When I have tried this service, I do get a call back... anywhere from 3 to 7 hours later (if that was really my place in the queue, does that mean I would have been on hold for that long...) In conclusion, the people have been professional and easy to work with and they do follow up with the work they say they are going to do. However the service they provide does not live up to what is advertise and is not very reliable. I would recommend choosing a DSL or cable ISP like Blackfoot, Bresnan, or Quest for your service. Digital Bridge's Bridge Maxx is not ready for prime time.
