Our kitchen remodel was just completed and we couldn't be happier with the remodeling services of DeCuzzi Home Remodeling. From the first introduction to the completion of the job, Jim and his crew were professional, punctual, creative and thorough. We have done several remodels through the years, and DeCuzzi Home Remodeling has been the best contractor by far! Special thank you to Jim and our project lead Fred in an outstanding job. I can't tell you what a wonderful experience I had using Jim DeCuzzi and his team to do some home repair and electrical work.  Here's an example of the kind of customer service I know other home owners like me are looking for. Jim and one of his team members came out to replace a dimmer switch to the lights on our patio, and a hallway light. We were in the process of selling our home and had multiple buyer showings scheduled, and desperately needed the lights to work.  I called Jim, left a message, and within minutes he returned my call and scheduled a day and time to come out and fix the problem.  I was amazed at how reasonable his prices were for such a "small" job.  He told me how much time it would take, and the work was completed precisely when he said it would be completed.  He and his colleague arrived promptly at the time scheduled, and the first thing I noticed was the care and respect with which he entered our home.  I can't tell you the nightmares I've had with other contractors who scratched our counter tops, broke tiles, and scratched hardwood floors.  I'll bet you have had the same nightmares!
As it turns out, the light switch worked for several days, and then stopped working.  What was discovered afterwards was the BIG BOX home store had repackaged another customer's return, and the switch was BAD to begin with.  Not a problem for Jim.  I called him up, he schedule a time to come back out, AND REPLACED THE FAULTY SWITCH WITH A NEW ONE AT NO CHARGE!
Now I don't know about you all, but that's the kind of customer service that is rare to find these days.  If you need home repairs, or remodeling (no matter how big or small), and care about the quality, integrity and honesty from your contractor at a very fair price, look no further than Jim.  Not only would have him in our home again, he's the only one I'd have do my work!

We had a pipe water leak in the Master bath, Dec. 19th, 2015. After trying to reach out to another contractor, who came out and then never showed up...we called Jim Decuzzi and he came out with 3 workers the same day.  We made arrangements for them to come back to do the work a few days later and they showed up right on time.  Covered the floors with tarpes and the openings from the dining room. Also, covered all my items in the dining room, like table and china cabinets to protect them.  There were 4 workers here and they works from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, due to having to wait for drywall to dry before painting.  The finished work was excellent and we are very pleased with the replacement of our 30 year old commodes with the newer technology in toilets. We have been here for 30 years and had this house built new Tysons.  We will be using Mr. Decuzzi for more work that we want to get done and I already have a neighbor asking for his info. They were all very nice and very professional.

I really liked these guys.  Very professional but approachable and they worked fast and efficiently.  As an older woman living alone sometimes my needs are pretty basic (e.g. changing lightbulbs) but they happily did whatever I needed. 

We manage a large portfolio and have been working with contractors for nearly 15 years. We booked this deal for a full day to test out new contractors; Jim over exceeded our expectations by 1,000%.

Jim was extremely competent, focused and never once was sat idle or tried to 'milk the clock'. There were various scenarios where Jim quickly offered alternatives to identified challenges and other instances where he quickly created strategies (on the fly) that allowed the prioritized work schedule not to be compromised and nearly saved our organization a few hundred bucks (easily).

For those looking for a quality contractor; more importantly, a quality human being, with excellent communication and people skills... Look no further because Jim and Decuzzi Home Remodeling crew is the obvious choice, if you want work performed once - with the highest quality!

The most honest company thus far. They were punctual and respectful of my time and property; responsible, finished work on time and within estimates provided. Did not try to upsell like a salesman. In fact, they fixed smaller work in my house without charging me a dime! You know most companies nickel and dime you and 'make-up' issues to get into your pocket. Not this company. You can rely on them to let you know what needs attention immediately, what can wait and what you don't need to worry about. 
I reach out to them for everything, including work they don't even do! But they still manage to get me in contact with another honest reputable company and see through their work to ensure that the work was performed per standards!  Who does that?

Jim was very helpful with the work I needed done. When I first called, I told him that I lived in MD but the home he was repairing was in VA. He asked when would be the next time I was there, and at the ttime of the phone call I was already in VA so he made it a point to make out to that home the same day I was there. He was very honest about the work that needed to be done and quoted me a fair price. When I thought I told him the correct paint color of the walls, he immediately called me when he started to do the painting and saw that the colors did not match. He made it a point to make sure the same color was used and he was able to find the correct wall paint. I was very pleased with his work and honesty and would plan to use him again in the future.

Very conscientious, hard-working, dedicated men. No sub-contractors. They did all the work themselves. Always in contact with me throughout the demo and re-build. Very talented and great at trouble-shooting/problem solving.

I am an Architect so had all the specifications outlined for him when we signed the contract.  Did I mention he is bonded?  Well, he is!
He delivered on every aspect of my specifications on time and usually under budget.  The painting took 3 full days to accomplish; a day less than I expected.  My inspection of the work indicated no shortcutes at all.  His "cutting" in around moldings was precise.
I saved enough on the painting portion of the scope of work to apply this amount to an upgraded floor tile selection.
He was fast and fastidious in demo-ing the existing flooring in my kitchen.  No "demo" dust reached anyother room and that is a superior attention to detail.  He was extremely accurate, and again, fastidious in his tile laying. 
It was a great experience and I highly recommend his work.  He is expensive but its totally worth it.  I trust him and will use him on my next remodeling project!
