It's costly, but has been always has been good service. We have always been pleased with them.  Our first experience with them was when one of our cats was dying and had to be put to sleep.  They were amazing and so kind, and even sent us flowers afterwards.  They went above and beyond.  We have since had to put our dog Forrest, and they have always been so kind and they make special arrangements so you don't have to see other people, they light candles and go the extra mile.  I think they are a little higher priced, but I think their location, I think their rent is higher.

A simple and routine procedure sent us to the emergency vet. Our cat almost hemorrhaged to death. They did reimburse us for the emergency vet expenses, but our children were traumatized by almost losing our kitten.

The prices are reasonable. The vet and front office staff are professional, willing to answer questions and explains the pricing.

The techs and vet are very knowledgeable. They take great care of their animals.

After a few years of questioning the amount of tests, I finally took a senior dog in for recommended dental care. They ran extra blood tests, which had already been performed a month before that should have taken the place. After almost $500 later, I was told my dog was fine but that didn't include any of the work that should have been performed. I haven't felt comfortable going back since, yet I still get postcards telling me it's time for more bloodwork. I can't afford to continue at this vet - almost $1,000 for 1 dog in a year with no health problems is disgusting.

I am not going back to them. I hate to bad mouth somebody. I took my old dog there because I was leaving for a vacation. I was having somebody to watch him and wanted to make sure that everything was okay. The feeling that I got from the technician was that her main purpose was to encourage me to get lots of blood work. She kept asking me to get something or the other done for additional money. She was like a salesman. I then saw the doctor briefly who looked him over and said that he was in a very good shape. This was on a Friday and they said that I would have the results on the next day. The reason that we were doing that was because they were supposed to be checking the liver functioning as he was old. I wanted to be able to give him something like an inflammatory medicine to make him more comfortable. They were supposed to get back to me. I called them on Saturday and they said that they did not have the results. I called them on Monday and they said that they did not have the results. I was leaving on Tuesday. They called me back after I called them on Monday. They told me that all the results were fine and that was the end of it. There was no solution and I did not get any medicine for him. I took him this week to see another veterinarian. I don't know what to say. I am an Aryan and I do have certain expectations of doctors and so forth. He is over fourteen years old and I want to make him comfortable for the end of his life and for the rest of his life. I feel like I need to be with a veterinarian that I feel comfortable with because they might be the one that I may have to go to put him to sleep. So, I feel like I need to establish a relationship. I moved here a few months ago. I had been seeing one vet with him for thirteen years and I would have been comfortable going to them in the end when I had to have him euthanized. It is hard to pick a new one and I did not feel good about the visit. So, I went to another veterinarian. It was a onetime experience. I had spent enough money and I did not get the results that I wanted. My daughter-in-law recommended the vet that she went to and so, I went to them. Their price was high. Their punctuality was okay.

We have been very pleased with Ashburn Village Animal Hospital for the past 7 years. Dr. Velling and his staff have been very good to our 4 pups. We trust his decisions and know our pets are in good hands.

The only person I use there is Nikki. She gives excellent haircuts. The place is clean and very efficient. It is reasonably priced.

They charge $19. Normally it goes okay, but the last time it took way too long. I had to wait to make an appointment. I had to wait for about an hour. Last time when I went in there, it was a holiday, so that is why it took so long. The quality of the work was good.
