Ashburn Piano Service

Best experience I have ever had obtaining service for my instruments. Nobody but Jeff Bishop touches my piano.

Jeff is always efficient. He shows up when he says he will (and he double checks addresses to make sure he CAN show up when he says he will!). He is friendly, quick, efficient (in fact, I am not sure I have ever seen a piano tuner complete a tuning job as quickly as he does!). He tends to do exactly what he is asked, but he cares for the instrument, and he will offer suggestions as to what to do to prolong the instrument's life or to otherwise help maintain it more effectively between tunings. I am always pleased with Jeff's work!

I have a piano passed to me that has been in the family since the 40s, but well maintained. I looked on the piano guild website for a registered piano tuner and compared reviews on Angie's list. I ultimately used Ashburn Piano Tuning because he is local. Mr Bishop was very professional and charged exactly what he told me the cost would be up front. I kept the house quiet and didn't talk during the tuning. Mr. Bishop arrived on time, and the service took about 1.5 hours ( it was pretty out of tune.) Now my piano sounds beautiful and finely tuned.

He was on time and he was very efficient. He did a good job. The piano was tuned fine. I don't think his price is too high and I think he is pretty much average. I think he can bring down his prices.
