Aquaman Pool Service Inc

We worked directly with Doug Rico in both instances. The 2015 service went well. When we engaged him this year, not so much. After the initial consultation, Doug was near impossible to pin down on work dates and never returned calls or emails in a timely manner. The work was conducted entirely by subcontractors with ZERO oversight from Aquaman. Once the work was complete, Doug gave the okay to fill the pool sight unseen. Apparently one of the plugs was left out of the bottom of the pool and at least 1/3 of the water ran out. When Doug did arrive, my first question to him was, "did you inspect the work prior to authorizing the pool to be filled." Doug's response was, "he did not and that he relied on the subcontractor to do that." Doug did get in the pool, replace the plug, and schedule additional fills. Since completion of the work, we have requested Doug to perform a final inspection before paying the final bill. We have several issues where spots of the coping are lacking sealant, we have additional hardware that was not put back in place when the work was completed, and we have a skimmer line that appears to be plugged with broken tiles fragments. Doug was supposed to do the inspection last week, but was a no show and has not returned calls or emails to date. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for anything beyond minor weekly pool maintenance.

We have been using Aquaman since our pool was installed five years ago. The company was recommended by our pool installation company, Alpine Pool. We have used Aquaman for all of our pool maintenance needs from opening, closing, and weekly maintenance. Aquaman is always punctual, professional, and proactive in ensuring the smooth, successful, efficient, and effective running of our equipment. The employees are all friendly and well-informed. While Aquaman might not be the cheapest operation in town, they are certainly the most reliable and professional in my book. I would not hesitate to recommend Aquaman to others. Our pool is a costly investment and Aquaman ensures that it is well-protected.

My experience with them was not very good. They installed the pool equipment incorrectly and then they set its service incorrectly. I talked to them about the problem. They didn't do much and so we just changed to another company. They had nice new truck and they did not have well trained young people. Their price was average.

Aquaman Pool Service Inc is quiet. The pool is clear.

They were terrible. They contracted to provide a pool cover for me. The cover was supposed to be blue, but they showed up with a black cover. When I told them it was incorrect, they argued with me and refused to take it back. They did not document what I ordered, and they did a terrible job of cleaning my pool as well. I have since found a better pool company who does good work.

Expensive replacement parts and service for equipment.

I respect the job that they do. They set an approximate time they will come. I can count on them coming when they say they would. They put the mesh cover on the pool. It takes several people to pull the cover over. They put proper chemicals. They clean out the filters, back wash it, and everything that they need to do to close it down for the winter. In the spring they get it ready for the summer, put away the cover, they will blow off the deck for leaves. They are very professional. They will let me know if anything is out of place or if there is a new part needed. Their price is comparable to other pool services.

They did a good job for us. They have also done some minor repairs in the past. I did think they were a little overpriced. The serviceman was however very respectful of our home. It didn t take long to schedule them to come out and they did the job in a timely manner.
