We've also had the dogs stay there before, during day time.

We've been there several times in the last several months. My dogs have to be trimmed up every month and a half. The groomer is very nice. She comes out and she meets me and everything.

My dogs and I had a great experience at Wag More Dogs. I called ahead to make an appointment and was greeted by the helpful, friendly staff upon my arrival. My Labrador Retriever is so high strung and athletic we've had other groomers ask us not to return. The folks at Wag More had no problem with either of my dogs.
I will definitely recommend Wag More Dogs to my dog owning friends.

I would NEVER use Wag More Dogs again. We took our puppy there for daycare and watched on the Doggy Cam a few times during the day and were appalled. They put her (a 12 lb puppy) in with gigantic dogs and were not watching them at all. She was bullied by a big dog and the staff never once went over and tried to break it up. Our dog is incredibly social and independent and spent the rest of that day in her crate because she was so scared. We picked her up early after seeing what was happening and she cowered and was withdrawn for hours afterward. We aren't dramatic people who spoil our dog, but we couldn't believe how irresponsible they were.

Every time we pull up our dog couldn't be more excited. The owner Kim is wonderful. Bill is great too. They actually interact with the dogs and know every dog's name. The place is so clean you could eat off the floor. I'm really picky about my dog and I am super happy with them. All of the dogs there are so happy to be there.

I wanted to find a doggie daycare for my year old pup so that she would get some exercise and be occupied while I was at work in Wash DC. I take her to Wag More twice per week. The other days I pay a neighbor to let her out midday when I'm not able to work from home. I called to make an appt, filled out the paperwork, provided her vaccination record and dropped her off for 1/2 day for an evaluation. When entering the front office, you definitely notice the smell of urine and disinfectant, which they try to cover with scented candles. This bothered me at first, until I realized that the dogs are allowed to relieve themselves in the play area. The workers immediately clean up after the dog and the play areas are very clean. The play area is divided into 2 separate areas and they have various and quot;play equipmentand quot; throughout both areas (platforms, ramps, stairs, etc). Wire crates line the walls around the play area. There is a and quot;pack leaderand quot; human in each area at all times. I've watched them while waiting to pick up my dog numerous times -- they are constantly interacting with the dogs and are extremely kind. They are also confident and know how to handle dogs. Some dogs are playing with one another, others are lounging on the various platforms, and some are just walking or running about. The staff are all very kind, helpful, professional and attentive and clearly love animals. I do not worry when my dog is at Wag More while I'm at work like I do when she is home alone in a crate. She likes going to Wag More and gets excited when she recognizes we are going. A big plus is that she is exhausted for 2 days after I bring her home. She definitely stinks when I pick her up - but the smell dissapates after awhile. There is a DYI dog wash directly across the street. You can also have Wag More wash your dog for $30. I wish they had an outside area in which the dogs could play and relieve themselves. There is another dog day care right down the street from Wag More that has an outside area for the dogs and a bigger facility, but charge $10 per day more. I don't think my dog minds where she is as long as she is with kind humans and has other dogs to play with.
I have also boarded my dog with Wag More for a week. She was in good health when I picked her up, but she was clearly exhausted and seemed very glad to back in her own quiet home. Overall I am pleased with Wag More and will continue taking my dog there, as well as board her when needed.
