UBUILDIT

Ubuildit was hired to assist in us in the building of our home. They sold us on what they claimed as over 30 years experience in the residential home building industry. The project started wonderfully, Ubuildit helped us get our permits, loan and contracts with the subs lined up. However, then there were issues. Advice was given that drastically stalled the project time line. Once confronted the owner called us and told us that the project manager was being let go, and that he would personally over see the project. The owner, Chad, has NO home building experience and his advice and lack of proper planning directly impacted our costs and schedule. We were told at the time of signing the contract that we "pay as we go" and if we are not satisfied then we have the right to stop services and only pay the following installment due. Chad, was given half a payment ahead of schedule because half the milestone was met and he said he needed to make a house payment. After that we had a meeting and I told Chad that we will no longer need his services. He has since unlawfully put a lien on our house which has stopped all construction loan draws. I have tried to contact him on multiple occasions with no success.
