It went very well. They were great! They stayed on schedule and everyone was very professional, good at their jobs, and organized. It was a good experience. Their people were fantastic and they were very good communicators. We got what we paid for; they weren't the cheapest but I think that sometimes the cheapest is not so good.
Description of Work: They did a three-month kitchen renovation for us. It was from January to April and I actually ended up hiring them to do backyard landscaping as well.

It's going excellent. They are excellent to work with. So far, everybody has been great to work with. As a matter of fact they put a sign on our front door telling people to knock and ring the doorbell because most of the time when they do stuff they are working on a house that's not occupied. Knowing that we may or may not be at home it just makes it easier. It's the best price we got from different people. It's competitive. So far they have been very hands on, and very attentive to our needs. They are very good in terms of responsiveness. We have set meeting with them every week. They are going to go over everything that happened in the past week and what will go on in the next week. We get regular emails pretty much on a daily basis with updates and the project foreman is by probably at least once a day checking on things, if not more than that. It does help that we are literally 2 houses away from their office. It's not a big community but they do a lot of work in the neighborhood. One of their clients is just literally up the street and they can walk up to it. With regards to their punctuality, for me it's really easy because they can leave their office at 7:59 in 30 seconds and make it to my house at the 8:00 meeting. Traffic on the sidewalk is not that bad.
Description of Work: We've hired TriVista USA LLC to do our remodeling. They are currently doing the work. We are converting a screened-in porch into an enclosed sunroom. We're adding air conditioning and we're remodeling the master bedroom.

Both jobs went very smoothly. Neither took any longer than could be expected given the changes I wanted to make once the jobs had started. Michael worked hard and was successful in bringing the jobs to completion without going over the budgets.
Description of Work: I've used TriVista twice and am almost ready to use them again. The first time, in 2006, was designing and building a new front entrance, which includes a beautiful custom-designed arch that matches arches inside my 1932 front hall, four well-placed columns, and a gorgeous copper roof and downspouts. The second time, in 2008, was expanding a bathroom to create a double sink with cabinets above on either side and below and a lovely claw-foot tub with shower next to a window overlooking my pond and waterfall. Next to the expanded bathroom, TrivistaUSA created a very large walk-in closet with ample space for wardrobes for two adults. The next job I'm hiring them for is to create a four foot high brick wall with two feet of wrought iron above and with a six foot wrought iron gate the top of which would be an arch to match the arch on the front entrance and the ones in the front hall. While working on the first two jobs, the crews were very respectful of my home and property, their work was of very high quality, and they documented every change and gave me accurate estimates of what the changes would cost.

We couldn't be more pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work, the professionalism of the staff, and the general service that we received. We had begun a massive renovation of our home with a previous contractor that was a complete disaster. He left us with half a home, a junkyard for a backyard, structural nightmares, and financially depleted. After the experience we had been through, we didn't know who to trust. Michael Sauri came in and listened to our needs, desires, concerns and developed a plan of action that was tailored for us. His staff and subcontractors were talented, hard-working, neat, and friendly. When they were faced with challenges (and there were many), they took them head-on and found creative solutions. When undertaking a project of this magnitude and cost, it is important to realize that things will not always go as planned but you need a contractor that can work with you to address each issue in a way that satisfies you, the client. TriVista showed us the kind of open, honest relationship that you need when you are entrusting someone else with your home. The final product has turned out to be our dream home, an ideal place to raise our family.
Description of Work: TriVista rescued us after we were taken advantage of by an unscrupulous contractor. In a systematic, well thought out manner, they fixed each of the problems that were left behind and created a beautiful home for us. This included building, from the ground up (they had to fix structural problems), a huge kitchen that opens up into a great room with lots of windows; a master suite with a fireplace, walk-in closet, master bathroom with soaking tub, separate shower, and his and her sinks; an office (also with a lot of windows); a second large living area; laundry room; mudroom; and two-car garage.

Both jobs took longer than I expected, but in retrospect that probably says more about my unreasonable expectations than anything about the pace of their work. I had to realize that we had to wait for some of subcontractors to finish one thing before the next thing could be done. Like the granite guys had to do one section around the tub twice to get it right and that pushed back the mirror guys so we had to wait for them to finish other jobs before they could get back to me. Certainly, as I've implied above, the quality of the finished product on both projects justified the time they spent. Overall, I was happy to have TriVista workmen in my home. They cleaned up after themselves regularly and took great care on the bath and closet project not to create any mess anywhere else in the house. The guys were pleasant to have around, and I felt like Michael Sauri, the owner of TriVista, was on top of everything and had really trained his guys well.
Description of Work: TriVista put in a beautiful bath and large walk-in closet enabling me to turn an upstairs sitting room into a fabulous bedroom. They created a lovely, inviting tub/shower combination and an above counter sink on a spacious marble counter top with cabinets above and below and a vanity space with seating and blended these with an existing powder room. In helping me make attractive choices for the hardware, sink, claw foot tub, window treatments, lighting, and overall design, TriVista completed the peaceful bathroom and coordinated it with the wood finish and drawer handles of the adjoining closet. The closet provides ample storage space for both hanging and folded clothing, a good-sized shoe rack, and even floor room for boxes and suitcases. I had hired TriVista in the summer of 2006 to put a new external entrance on my home. Their fine workmanship and professionalism was absolutely fantastic then so I wasn't surprised to again experience the high quality of their work on my new bathroom and closet. As in 2006, their designers did a great job to make the new remodels complement my 1932 house. They gave extra care to match the unusual archways between my interior center hall and the living room and dining room when creating the archway for the new exterior entrance. It is this attention to detail as well as their determination to please their customers that makes TriVista one of the best, if not THE best, contractors I've ever worked with. My next project will be a large deck off the back of the house and I'll be hiring TriVista to help me create a charming, refreshing outdoor space!

It went very well. We began our journey with Tri-Vista in March of 2007. Due to our neighborhood design and review board committee we did not begin construction until January of 2008. However, during that span of time Michael worked diligently with our architect to design a plan that would be approved. Once approved, we waited a couple more months for permits. During construction, in June of 2008 a tree fell on our home. If not for that, construction would have been complete July of 2009, just 6 months. However, due to this circumstance it was completed and move in ready that September. From start to finish, Michael and his team are incredibly talented and trustworthy. They were absolutely amazing in making our dream of an addition, and a wrap around porch a reality. In addition to incredible listening skills, he exemplifies incredible communication and follow up and often times goes the extra mile to ensure the safety of the household.
Description of Work: Our home was built in 1905. A first floor addition was put on the home in the 1970's. Tri-Vista added 2 floors up to that addition adding a second level washer/dryer room, two additional bedrooms, bathroom and a connecting master bedroom and bath, along with some much needed storage space. The exterior was remodeled also adding a wrap around porch with a side door and a back porch. Extensive trim work was done and columns were added to connect the original house to the addition, creating a sense of flow.
