Moving
The job was done very well except one of the movers stole my sister's laptop. They ditched it before they got back to the office, probably because they suspected that we had made a report. For quite some time, the owner refused to believe that this happened and suggested that we misplaced it. After a lot of protesting, the owner agreed to have the men involved in the move undergo a lie detector test, which they failed. The owner indicated that those involved had been fired, but there was not enough evidence, according to police, to press charges. The owner did not offer any monetary discount on the move because of this, and in a letter complained that he had paid a lot of money to resolve the issue and insisted that we pay for the move in full.
