The Dental Office at River House

Over the years that Dr. Cote was our dentist, he provided conservative treatment, and was always careful to recommend only the really necessary treatments.  Dr. Cote has advanced skills beyond those you expect to find in a general dentist's office.  As an example, I sometimes need more anesthesia than normal, and Dr. Cote knew how to inject the anesthesia in a way that worked, and that he said most dentists don't use.  His offices are Spartan, but who cares?  His staff is always helpful.

I've been using him for probably 10 years. He is very gentle. I don't have any problems. He has had the waiting room recently renovated. It's fine. It's a small office in the bottom floor of an apartment building. I went to the dentist that was there before him. So, I've always gone there. It's not fancy and it's not in a big office building. That's the way he keeps the prices down. I wait no more than 5 minutes before being seen.

It was really well.  The office is efficient.  The staff is very helpful.  I've been going to him for 3 years.

We have been happy with their care. We left for a matter of convenience, but we like Dr. Cody so much that we went back. Dr. Cody is straight forward and does not do anything that is not needed. He and his staff are very knowledgeable. They don't have a fancy new office, but the quality of the care is excellent which we really appreciate.

Professional staff and dentist. Never had a problem. I think they do a good job. Don't push unneeded procedures.

I've gone to Dr. Cote for the past couple of years. On my last visit I was seen promptly, his assistant was very professional and cleaned my teeth very gently and throughly. This office has a computerized record keeping system as well as a method of showing you what your xrays show on the computer monitor. After my teeth were cleaned, Dr. Cote came in and completed the check-up, he's very professional and communicates any problems or concerns directly. Dr. Cote's office bills the insurer and does not ask for any money until the insurance processes the claim.

Though the office is in a basement in the River House apartments in Pentagon City, and the machinery seem dated, they actually use high-tech computer software to represent problem teeth areas and lower radiation x-rays. The professionalism and knowledge of my hygienist, Stephanie, and Dr. Cote shined through. I had been using a prescription toothpaste, and they said I didn't need it but should use Act instead.

He and his staff are fantastic. They really care about the amount of pain that you go through. It's the only dentist's office I've been to like that. If you're feeling pain, they feel like they're doing something wrong. I love the technology that they use in the office.

I've been seeing him for two years. He has a good bedside manner and his hygienists are very nice. My gums are sensitive to the water pick, so they will do the hand pick. It is easy to get an appointment. The staff is very pleasant and he is a nice guy.

He is excellent. He is very accessible. He is gentle and thorough. I like him because I don’t worry that he is trying to sell me something that I don’t need. His office needs a little updating, though.
