Exterior Painting
Adequate job and work - I provided paint.
Timely but his price when the job was done was 33 % more than we agreed on. I had work done in the past (3 jobs) by Roberto with only a verbal price each time which was honored. This time he said nothing until the job was finished and demanded additional money for the work performed. An increase may have been warranted because the work became more labor intense for him but this was an issue he should have addressed when he gave me his original quote. The price increase when presented to me was not a business discussion or negotiation but a shake down.
After using him for three previous painting jobs with no problem this was a mistake having the work performed without a contract. I should have insisted on a written contract. Beware!
