Rimble Landscaping

We've had work done from Rimble twice now. They did a great job. My only annoyance (no fault of Rimble) is that bunnies keeps eating our plants! We've been trying different repellants, but our yard still doesn't look great due to the eaten plants. We may try different plants next time.

They couldn't have been better. Rimble was very easy to work with and they arrived just when they said they would, did a great job, and cleaned up the area after they were finished.

They came out on time to do a survey of the work. Said we would receive quote in three days. Never heard from them again.

I am very happy with the landscaping work they performed for us. The work was a bit more than the usual landscaping and involved putting some stone and with edging in our sloping backyard and installing a drainage pipe for erosion control. Randy provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner and then we fine tuned the quote to meet my requirements. I liked the fact that Randy takes the time to understand your specific needs and come up with a solution. Work was scheduled in a timely manner and executed as planned. Randy is very professional in his interactions and no bad surprises through the entire process.

They didn't stop to talk to us at that time. We heard from them and got a price, and we were satisfied with that. They came out, and looked at it. They didn't knock on the door or anything. They do the neighbors next door. They have it done every two weeks. They didn't charge for the estimate. I have no reason not to use them. Its the estimate, not the service. The estimate was reasonable.

Mowing crew is on time and do a thorough job. Even during this rainy season, when the grass and soil can be damp and soft, the mowers didn't tear up the lawn. The crew do a good job mowing around delicate areas, such as the kids' playset and window wells, down spouts. As for the spring cleaning, the crew did a marvelous job edging and mulching (some areas the mulch was pretty high around the base of the tree, but it was easy enough for me to create some space in those places). Debris and lawn litter from the winter was cleaned up and the lawn looked great. Prices were very reasonable, and slightly lower than the estimates I received from other popular lawn care providers. I plan to hire them and consider Rimble for other yard/landscaping needs.

Joe C. was the manager of the project and I can't say enough about him and his work. He was punctual and responsive on all site visits, including during the design and planning stages, very open-minded to what the customer wanted and was looking for, very honest about pricing and knowledgeable when asked for suggestions and recommendations. When the project started, he was very up front and transparent about the whole process, allowing me to be looped in during all phases of the project. His crew worked hard, followed instructions, and cleaned up afterwards. A few changes of plan occurred during the process (as most plans do), and Joe and his crew were able to adjust and adapt brilliantly. For example, when the project was complete, the finished landscape was incredible, however, I wanted to move a few plants slightly in the bed, as well as transplant a shrub to another location -- Joe said that he would be on it. Joe was also remarkably patient with my multiple adjustments to the plant lists, and the cost of the material and labor was very reasonable, from the initial estimates stages to the final bill. The job was the finest I've ever seen, and I commend Rimble, Joe, and his crew for their professionalism and expertise. The plantings are guaranteed for a year, but I'm not concerned with any of them dying. I have a back yard hardscaping patio project in mind for the future, and I'm hiring Rimble/Joe without hesitation.

Excellent quality of work, service was responsive. Randy called once to answer some questions I had about scheduling; the company was flexible and was able to accommodate my needs. I hired them for 2016, and now I'm planning to sign up for multiple projects and work around my house for 2017. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Rimble, they were awesome.

I have nothing but great things to say about Randy and his team. His prices were lower than most, and he did a quality job. I'm a former building inspector, and I can tell he doesn't cut corners. Most importantly, he was great to work with and it was never a problem when I made changes along the way. Great customer service!

Randy and his crew provided a wonderful job.  Quite attentive to detail and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the job performed.  We have very large garden beds, and after two years of neglect they were full of weeds and all the prior mulch either washed away or decomposed.  The edging also eroded away between the lawn and the garden bed.  The job required 5 guys, who spent the entire workday on the job, to cleanup, edge, weed and mulch 14 cubic yards worth of garden beds (at 3 inch or so of mulch depth).  I'll be using Rimble again for the same work when eventually needed.

Excellent service. I'm very happy with them.

I received the recommendation to have Rimble Landscaping from two very trustworthy individuals. The owners, are two hard-working young men, who are not only running the business, but also doing the yard work themselves. While they have a few other crewmen, they are doing the back-breaking work, too.
I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and punctuality. Randy walked around the perimeter of my house and took careful notes of my detailed yard work needs. He confirmed all of my requests during our discussion and sent me an estimate; a few hours later, as he reported he would. I immediately emailed Randy back, inquiring that I approved his estimate (which was extremely reasonable) and that I would like to schedule their service as soon as possible. Within a few hours, he was back on site, with one crewman, working around my yard. They did an excellent job and before he left, he asked that I walk around and check to see if the work was acceptable. He cleaned all of the debris among other areas (i.e., the driveway which was full of dead leaves and berries), that I had not asked him to do.
I would highly recommend Rimble Landscaping, and I have already scheduled them to do lawn service during the month.
These are very responsible, respectable young men, working hard with sweat on their back, to do a job well done.

they arrived on time and worked all day. im very happy with the results and will recommend them. they do phenomenal work. my yard looks so much better!

I was extremely pleased. They took a backyard that was a disaster and turned it into a showplace. Their price was extremely competitive. I got bids from two other contractors (one listed on Angies List and one of the garden centers) and they were both much more expensive.
Randy and Colin (the owners) started their business only a few years ago but are offering a great value and customer service. They were always punctual and showed up when they said they would show up. They listened to any concerns and did whatever was necessary to make sure I was happy.
I have a 20x20 townhouse backyard and the brick paver patio was 30 years old. They removed all the old brick, as well as lots of other material and then had to completely re-grade the entire area as the patio had sunk about 6 inches near the house and was too high away from it. Having a huge tree stump that had been ground up did not help but they took care of it. They reworked the entire area to ensure water would go away from the house, with some going into a large dry well they created. They put in a 12x12 Belgard paver patio and a 3.5 feet wide paver pathway from it to my backyard gate. The pavers look great and then entire backyard is completely transformed. I would definitely recommend.

Rimble a small Arlington company, they were at my home today. They do a great job of mowing, and they didn't tear up the lawn. It rained yesterday, for about 18 hours, and they didn't leave any tire marks, which was a problem I had with the previous company. Rimble did a super job with the over seeding, and lawn aeration, at a great price. They are conscientious, and prompt. The one issue I have is they are inconsistent with weeding my large size flower beds. They are ad hoc at best. We plan to stick with them in the future.
