Description of Work: lost my entire order...given to another customer..when it was finally returned one (brand new) shirt was missing. |'little girl' at the counter very mouthy...finally had to call and INSIST on speaking to the owner to get reimbursement for the shirt. took over a month for this to be sorted. Will not ever use again, had used them regularly for two years.

Description of Work: Washed and repaired handmade batik quilts from Indonesia. They came back looking beautiful and I'm very pleased with the work. I thought they probably needed to be cleaned, but the owner say washing was better and he was right.

 + 0 moreFlawless... one skirt has to have some tighter elastic added to waist band.. but minor repair. It's my favorite bluejean skirt. From now on, Millie is my lady.
Description of Work: Had 2 dresses, 4 skirts, 1 silk half-slip made smaller and shortened..... The work was ready in 1 week, and all freshly dry-cleaned and/or laundered. Absolutely beautiful job... I could not replace clothing items of this quality, today, for that price... so well worth it to me.

 + -1 moreMy experience at Millie's was excellent. She's a very charming and friendly person, and she was very efficient yet patient when taking measurements. The pickup ticket she gave me listed the price for each service, and that was exactly what was charged. The work was top notch, and the pickup was made very easy because the business is also a cleaners and so has convenient hours. I had also dropped off a suit coat the needed the lining repaired. The repairs looked almost as if from the factory, and Millie took the extra time to let in the patch at the bottom of the lining where it would show less. All this for only $20.
Description of Work: Three pair of suit pants taken up, one suit coat sleeves taken up.

 + -1 moreMILLIE IS VERY METICULOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I HAVE HAD A RUSH JOB, SHE HAS BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ME. HER WORK IS ALWAYS READY WHEN SHE PROMISES AND SHE HAS NEVER MADE A MISTAKE WITH AN ALTERATION. I HAVE USED HER ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AND CONTINUE TO DO SO.
