pointed out tires were getting a little worn but said they were still good for now, so didn't try to upsell me
I left the car there and it was ready some hours later. They seemed pretty busy/stacked up. If I wasn't able to walk home and then come back to get it, this would have seemed like a long time to wait, but for my situation this was not a problem.

Midas assessed that our car did not require immediate service to replace tires and brakes, in contrast to a insistent and pricey quote provided by our dealer. This was similar to a previous experience that I had with this Midas location and their approach seems to be very conservative with regard to recommending services. They did not call, however, when they were done with our car, which prevented us from picking it up several hours sooner than we actually did. I would have given them an "A" had they followed through with contacting me.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. FAST AND FRIENDLY SERVICE. AS MY JEEP WAS STOPPED/LOCKED AT A GAS PUMP AND I HAD TO LEAVE, THEY WATCHED OVER MY CAR (WITH THE WINDOWS 'LOCKED' DOWN). HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH THE LOCK CYLINDER SINCE.
