Mid Atlantic Adventures

I paid $924 for a mechanical bull ride rental and the guy setting it up stripped a screw or bolt and he no longer felt it would be safe to have someone ride and called Eddie (the owner) but Eddie told his guy just do it but limit the riders to 200 pounds or less but the guy feeling uncomfortable started all of a sudden saying the space is not good and packed it up and left with no one at my birthday party/Lupus fundraiser getting a ride. Called Eddie the owner the next day to reschedule or get a refund. He refused to do either. Don't use this service!!! All he cares about is taking your money even if he provides no service. I can't believe he is still in business.

All of the staff from Mid-Atlantic Adventures that we have met over the years of having our events with them are amazing. The owner showed up to make sure that we were happy with the service provided and that our guests were happy. All of the equipment was clean and the rules of jumping in the moon bounce was clear and the staff made sure the rules were followed at all times to ensure a safe and happy event!

Eddie and Kayleigh were expedient in assisting me to secure my requested equipment, getting the contract signed and providing me with concrete information on the delivery, setup and pickup of the requested equipment. It was seamless until the day of the event. Even though all of the equipment was ready right before the start of my son's party, the setup was an hour and a half later than originally communicated. It was also requested by the company if I minded if the equipment be picked up the next day and I agreed. However, at 9:30 p.m. when my last guests were leaving, the company comes back to get the equipment. I addressed this with the employee and he claimed he had orders to come back and get the equipment that evening, unbeknownst to me.
At that hour, it was pitch black outside and the lone employee seemed to be struggling with getting the equipment broken down and back on the truck. My husband and a few of our guests assisted the employee by holding flashlights so everyone could see what they were doing and even had to stand on the already deflated bounce house in order to package it for transport on the truck. It was 11:00 p.m when the truck and my guests left.
I called the company the next morning and left a message recapping this unusual and uncomfortable situation. CJ called me back within 2 hours and was sincerely apologetic and stated he would talk with his boss about a possible adjustment to my final payment due to the circumstances.
Six days later, Kayleigh contacts me for lost information to process the final payment. I informed her of CJ's inquiry and had yet to hear back from him. Eddie immediately returned my phone call and said there is no flexibility on payment but would be happy to offer me a discount on my next reservation for the inconvenience this situation caused. I declined.
