I saw Mike's name on Angie's List. I called for an appointment and he returned my call within a day and scheduled within a week. I had to change my appointment and he had no problem being flexible. He arrived early on an icey day, but called first to make sure it was okay. He worked quickly, but thoroughly, and my piano sounds great. Good job overall--give him a call.

Tuning went smoothly. I did want him to change the filter on the piano humidifier, but he wasn't sure how, and also, says that due to neck problems, he has given up doing most piano technician work beyond tuning.

We have a very old, baby grand piano in dire need of tuning. The piano had not been tuned in at least twenty years. Mr. Hugo warned me that with a piano this old there was the possibility of broken strings. None the less, Mr. Hugo worked very carefully and methodically and was able to tune the piano without a single broken string.

I called and left a message on a Wednesday-He called back the same day and scheduled the tuning for that Saturday. He showed up right on time, finished the job in the time frame he had given me, and charged exactly what he said he would. Couldn't have asked for more.

I inherited an upright piano that had not been tuned in years--maybe more than 10. It was terribly out of tune and the kids in the house had dropped jelly beans under the lid, so it was pretty much a mess. Michael was able to come in two days after my call, and did two rounds of tuning during his visit to bring it back to life. He was very gentle with the strings (he had warned me that strings can break during tuning when a piano has not been tuned for some time) and not one broke. Also gave me some useful piano care instructions. Will definitely use him again.

Very well. My previous tuner had left the area and so I needed to find a new one. The piano gets tuned annually although I had let it go a bit this year. Mr. Hugo did a very nice job. Perhaps even better than my previous tuner.

Overall he performed his services speedily and without any problems at all. He knows his business well and it was a pleasure to have him tune our piano.

I contacted Michael to schedule a weekend appointment. He called the day before to confirm, and arrived 10 minutes before schedule. He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and finished the job within 1 hour.

They gave me a Saturday appointment within 10 days of my call. They came promptly and worked courteously and steadily. The piano is much improved.

Mr Hugo arrived on time. He got to work right away on the piano. He asked a few pertinent questions (How old is the piano? Where did you buy it)? He kindly requested a glass of water to drink. He found that some of the hammers are bubbling and let me know that this is probably covered under the warranty. Instead of fixing the problem and charging me, I appreciate that Mr Hugo told me about it such that I can follow up with Jordan Kitt, where I purchased the piano. The entire job took just under two hours.

He arrived on time, identified himself with his business card. We exchanged a few pleasantries, and he got down to work. He tuned my mid-size grand piano in about 50 minutes. It sounds WONDERFUL!
