Great, he was specific about this pricing depending on the condition of the piano, luckily it was not as bad as I thought. It took about an hour. He was delightful and courteous, I will definitely hire again!

He called in advance, set up an appointment, and arrived on time on the day. He was nice and professional. In order to disassemble the piano, he asked me to help him lift the top of the piano and then set it down alone (I have lower back issues and although I did not appreciate it, I went along with it). After he tuned the piano, he scratched it while assembling it (a minor scratch; nevertheless, a scratch). Had he not scratched my piano, I would use him in the future.

Mike responded quickly and was available within a week, which is unheard of for piano tuners in other cities I've lived. He presented to my building on time and with his own equipment. I was a bit put off that he had a bad cold and kept blowing his nose and then touching the piano (as you'd have to to tune it!). Ultimately, I was disappointed that the piano was not well tuned when he was finished -- I had my brother listen too (he's a band director) and he confirmed that the central octave is not in tune. I didn't opt to have Mike come back and tune it again because I was honestly grossed out the first time, even though it was easily fixable with Windex.

I found Michael on Angie's List and called him based on the reviews here. It was easy scheduling Michael, he was able to come within a one week time frame. He called the day before to confirm our appointment and arrived at the scheduled time the next day. The piano hadn't been tuned since we acquired it from a friend about 5 years ago. He did a good job and was finished in about an hour and 30 minutes. The price was very reasonable. We will use him again.

He did a nice job tuning the piano. He responded to my request to come out to my house quickly and he showed up on time. Unfortunately, when reassembling the piano he put an approximately 1 cm long deep scratch on the front of the piano. He said it was and quot;unavoidableand quot; but I have never had a piano tuner scratch the piano before. His assistant told me that I could paint over it but that is not practical or appropriate for the finish. In all fairness, he was honest and pointed out the damage to me. He did not try to hide it. However, I will contact a different piano tuner next time. Also, I was not given a receipt for payment. Usually when I have had the piano tuned there is a receipt issued.

Mike did a super job. The piano hadn't been tuned in many years, and then had been moved 3 1/2 hours north, in a moving van. It was way overdo! He was on time, and at a very fair price. Mike is a totally gifted professional and a very nice man. Couldn't ask for more!

He arrived right on time, was very pleasant and congenial. I helped him get the top off the piano, and he spent approximately 40 minutes tuning the instrument. When he was done, he had me test it to make sure I was satisfied. I found one key that needed a slight adjustment which he did immediately. He made sure I was happy before he finished by putting the top back on the piano. He also had great suggestions for proper care of the instrument.

My piano was badly in need of a good tuning, and it got one. Michael did a great job on my piano. I don't think it sounded as nice, as it does now, when I first purchased it. I will definitely call Michael again.

Mike called me back within an hour of my first voicemail to schedule our appointment. He called to confirm the night before he came and showed up on time. He was friendly and professional and his charges were right in line with what he quoted me on the phone. The piano sounds great! I will call him the next time my piano needs a tune up.
