They did our weekly mowing, did a great job. I was double billed at one point but I let them know.

At first the service was terrific. I was very impressed by Mr. Merlos and his crew was always great. The problems all rest on Mr. Merlos. He simply cannot manage his business. It required a lot of contacts (emails and phone calls) to get him to do anything other than the weekly mowing. In spite of this, the crews would tell me that not only were they not too busy. In fact, his crew told me that often Mr. Merlos would send them home because he didn't have enough work for them to do. Even when he would finally tell his crew to do the requested work, he would give them the wrong instructions and the wrong materials. It became a complete disaster, so I had to fire them (only the second time that I have had to fire a service company)

Wow!   We've been struggling to find the right landscape company for years now and boy have we found them!! I have a large back yard so spring clean up is no small job.   The Merlos crew were BY FAR the best we've ever used.   We live on a half acre lot that has significant landscaping so spring clean up is no small chore and usually takes about 20+ yards of mulch.   Not only did Merlos provide us with an outstanding price, his crew did a great job!   The clean up the dead sticks, trimmed the bushes, cleaned out the weeds from all of the beds, edging , and mulched the entire back yard!   The crew was also super friendly.

The only reason that I gave a B for responsiveness was because Frank took a while to get back to me with a quote.   However, it was at the beginning of spring when EVERYBODY was calling so it's understandable.

I plan on doing business with Frank for a long time!

Called them the morning of the snow storm.  They said they would come by 8:00 PM which was fine with me.  Actually i was very happy they could come the same day since i had no prior relationship wit them.  They arrived before 6:00 PM and did a great job of clearing the driveway and walkway to the front door. The workers were very professional.  i would defnitely use them again.

I called Merlos at 7:30 am about snow removal and expected to leave a message.  Instead, he answered the phone and had a crew at my house in about two hours.  They were prompt, professional and fair with their price.  We have about a 60ft long driveway and the county had pushed a big pile of snow at the end of our driveway.  They asked if it was okay to push the snow up against our fence at the end of the driveway where the gate is which I appreciated them asking about before just doing it .  They also cleared the car that was in the driveway, cleared the sidewalk and put salt down.  All of this was done in about a half hour.  I would definitely call them again for snow removal and am considering trying them for our lawn care maintenance this year because of the great service we received.

I am. A 67 year old handicapped person living on a coudesac in falls church. The current snow was too much for me and my wife to remove. I called merlos and. I was amazed to hear that they would be able to clear our walks, and. Around each if our vehicles. They arrived at my home in less than 2 hours from my call. The service was excellent. All areas that needed attention were handled. quickly and efficiency. In fact,. The snow plow driver should give lessons to the county snow removal drivers to show them how to remove the snow and not block vehicles and driveway aprons.

These guys are terrific!  I called them the day of the storm without much hope that they would be able to come out, but they did!  I was so impressed.  They cleared my drive way, shoveled out from around the cars, shoveled my walk, stairs and even put down ice melt for a very reasonable price.  I'm impressed and I would definitely use them again!

This is a company that has more business than it can handle due to good reviews on Angies.  You need to repeatedly call to remind them of things they have promised to do.  It just requires too much work on your part to make it worthwhile.  I won't use them again.

Merlos Lawn Care are very prompt and do a really nice job. They're a little less expensive than many of the other places I contacted.

They were pretty good.  They worked for me three or four times within the last month.  They were pretty responsive and pretty good.  My baby sitter really dealt with them, more than I did.  Everything went pretty well.

Mr. Merlos and his friendly team arrived weekly to quickly and professionally manicure our lawn. When I wanted to add landscape design, Mr. Merlos professionally and kindly helped me make selections. All items were done perfectly!

Merlos Lawn Care has been mowing our lawn since the start of this season.  As someone who has cut a lot of grass in his time, I can say that Merlos work is absolutely first class.  The cutting is even, no clippings are left, and the edging is pristine.  The staff are friendly and responsive.  Overall an excellent experience.

I've used them now for years, and I really liked the job they did. They are always on time, and the quality of the work they do is just spectacular. They get done quickly and they cleaned up afterwords. They always leave everything looking great.
