The doctors and medical assistants are awesome - friendly and compassionate. I've been going to this group for 5 years or so. Since they became Primary Care Arlington (part of Arlington Hospital) a year ago, the front office support staff (appointments, check out, billing) are not as friendly or helpful particularly if calling for an appt or question. But, all in all, if you are sick and need to be seen, you can almost always get an appointment the same day

She is excellent in every respect (will review separately). BUT it is virtually impossible to communicate with the MAA offices in any meaningful way. They have two offices and only one telephone number. When you call, you get an endless series of Talking Robots who keep you endlessly on hold while telling you "Your call is very important to us"! After a long wait you finally get another Talking Robot who tells you to leave a message and someone will get back to you at close of business (if you're lucky). If you happen to miss the return call, you're back to playing phone tag with the Talking Robots again! Frustrating! For the time being, we will continue seeing their doctor when she visits Goodwin House but if their office performance does not improve we will have to consider going with another doctor.

I highly recommended this office and Dr. Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen is friendly and does a good examination. She takes time to listen to you. She did a detailed case history and detailed exam. I like that the records are electronic. To get your blood results, you have to call a specific number 48 hrs after your appointment. When I called the information and follow up instructions was easy to understand. A few weeks after seeing her I got sick and I was able to get an appointment with the Dr. the day I called. The office staff, and medical assistances are all very nice. I am happy with my choice to switch to this office. I will continue to go see this dr.

Everything went well. Dr. Walsh has a great bedside manner, shows real interest in his patients, and is very easy to deal with. The office staff and the nursing personnel did a great job at every step, and it was a very succesful visit.
I was there for a routine, annual physical. Spent about an hour, had all of the expected tests run, and discussed my medical history, and most importantly, ways to improve. Dr. Walsh firmly believes in preventive medicine, as do I.

Their staff is responsive. I haven't had any issues with the doctors. I wouldn't say I really got any treatment.

Part of an ongoing patient-physician relationship. It's very personal. My physician, Dr. Sitzmann, is excellent. She listens, she cares, she responds to my concerns. That's what really matters.

Dr. Walsh is a great primary care doctor. His practice is efficient and
you can always get in to see someone. I trust him with the health of my
whole family.

If Medical Associates of Arlington (and specifically, Dr. Nguyen), accept your insurance, then I can recommend her. However, be careful of what their website says. It said that they accepted my insurance, and when I went to the two appointments, I was never told by anyone in reception/billing that they were out of network for my very commonly accepted BC/BS plan. I've received huge bills for these two very routine appointments after the fact. One bill was sent as a "current' bill five months after the appointment for my physical, for $228 (not including lab work, which I had already paid for). So it's definitely user beware - double-check to make sure your insurance is accepted!!!
