I asked for them to do pillows for me on Dec. 15th, 2016. The kept promising me that it would be done. On May 8th, 2017, I finally gave up and asked them to return everything. They eventually did but not the 8 yards of expensive material. It is now June and they still have not returned it to bought me new material to compensate me for my loss. I would re-evaluate this review if I actually got the material back.

I called a month ago and asked if someone could come to my house to see the two couches and one love seat that I needed recovered. I live only one block away so Michael was able to come here that same afternoon. After a week I did not receive an email with the estimate so I called and it took them awhile to track it down. After a few more days, still no estimate. A few days later I received a call asking for my email address (which I had given Michael the day he came to my house). Still no estimate. Two more calls, still nothing. I finally gave up and now I am looking for another provider.

They were great! I took my one yard of fabric and 2 foot stools into the shop. I was concerned that I did not have enough fabric and would have to make choices. He assured me that they could do it and was also very upfront that my pattern might not be centered on the pillows or on the foot stools - because of the limited amount of fabric. Everything turned out amazing!
I gave them a B on price just because I thought it was expensive. (I have never done this before - maybe they are in line with others - I just don't know). But for the quality of the work - I think its well worth it. I will have these items for many years to come. They were up front about the cost. They gave me an option to go and get my own down filling for the pillows - because I could probably get it cheaper elsewhere. But I decided to go with them (for convenience). There were no hidden costs, everything was up front and I could not be happier. I would definitely use them again!
They were friendly, courteous, professional and my items were completed when they said they would be.

It went beautifully. Having said that, do not hesitate to ask about their remnants to reupholster the chairs. Stick to your budget. For example, they showed me higher end fabric but I told them I only paid $8 for each chair--the same chair that costs $199 in Ballard's catalog. At any rate, they also suggested that I may want to and quot;beef upand quot; the underlying seating pillows for additional firmness. To do so, they would have charged $85 per chair--an expense I did not consider because the chairs are going to be used as guest chairs and not main dining chairs. As such, I thought the expense was not worth it.

Jose did a splendid job, and gave me a real deal on remnant fabric that was perfect for the job. He also reglued and repaired a matching footrest that other "experts" had declined to try, stating that it is "impossible to glue bamboo." The footrest is so well done that one cannot see the repairs, and it is sound and sturdy as can be. The settee looks great and is more structurally sound than it has ever been. A+ on this job. Previously, Jose had repaired dining chairs that had started to come apart. the seller of these chairs had unsuccessfully attempted repair. Jose actually succeeded. Jose is a real gentleman, and will work patiently with you to get a good result at t reasonable price. Work of this quality cn't be performed overnight, though.

I went to their shops to look at fabrics. They could have been a little more helpful with helping me pick out fabrics. Once I picked out the fabric we set a date and them came to my home to pick up the furniture. I was satisfied with their work.

Quality of service, cost and time spent were all excellent. We took the chairs in (they would have come for them), and found a fabric from their remnant section which we liked very much, so the cost was very reasonable. The did an excellent job of re-creating the worn out cushions and upholstering them, including button decorations. They estimated three weeks for delivery and met that time-table, and delivered them to the house free. They were not able to fix a wobble in one chair on it's castors, but they did not promise that they could - just that they would look at it. I do not know what the cost of fabric other than from the remnant section would have been, presumably a lot more.
