They replaced the grout in one bathroom as it was too stained to clean. The found in the other bathroom that the wall board behind the shower was in bad shape in many places so we decided that they would pull down all the old tile and wall board and replace with new wall board and tile. It was been a couple of years and I don't remember the cost but I do remember they were able to pull together all the materials they needed very quickly and the additional work did not take long and the shower tile work still looks pretty good even after more than 3 years. There are a few places where the grout is not completely smooth and does tend to collect moisture and is hard to clean.

Scheduling was difficult. Once they made an appointment they showed up and performed the work OK but did a so, so job. It was not a bad job but also not exceptional. I will likely just use a known provider int he future instead of a coupon special.

When they provider showed up at my home, he had his girlfriend do my upstairs bathroom while he did my downstairs bathroom. After the job was complete, it looked like a first grader had done the job. I asked him to return to do a better job or refund my money back. He did nothing but told me I would need more work done and he wanted to charged me an additional $500.00. I was not home when he did the work (my daughter was), but for the money I spent, and the services I received, I should have received a refund.
He did a lousy job. I wonder how can he look at himsefl in the mirror every morning knowing what he did was wrong. He took my money and did nothing professional.

Very nice but we really had no idea that our shower was in that much trouble. Since no dry Crete cement board was installed when house was built, I am at a loss. My quote was 1800 if I did the demo and supplied the tile. I don't have this kind of money so I hope a repair can be found with them cheaper because they were nice but it is a disaster. I think hitting the tiles at the top or side would have helped us still be able to use in an emergency, like our relatives arriving or something like that.

Aggressively attempted to overcharge by estimating 325 square feet when area was less than 250 square feet. Grout cleaning was marginal in quality.

It went well. He came as scheduled and performed the work. The shower looked great and I thought the price was worth it. He was professional and clean. Would use them again.

I booked the big deal online, and promptly called to follow up and schedule them. He also does the work, so he was juggling the work and the scheduling, so he had to call me back. That back/forth cost us a more immediately available and convenient date, versus a later and less convenient date.
When he and his crew mate did come, they took a look around and tried to up sell me on a more expensive job. It was a combination of some regrouting (which i did need) and something else that was an obvious upsell. When I dug in on the basic bathroom tile job I had paid for, he told me he had some problem to fix with a previous customer or a double booking and had to reschedule... Their next date was also inconvenient, but now I just wanted something DONE.
When they came to work, I did agree to the up sell minus the regrouting. That drove it from $120 (I think) to $190. Removed my nasty old caulk and treated my bathroom tile in two full bathrooms. Then they applied their protectant and recaulked to prevent additional mildew and other gross stuff from building up. It took a few hours, and included one break to let chemicals work their magic.
It looked good when they were done. (Its A 35 year old generic white tile and shower, so they couldn't make it look "brand new"), but it looked better than anything we had done by ourselves, and better than anything our outside cleaners had ever done. I was still skeptical. So, I have waited. The caulk has held up. The mildew has stopped, and I am very satisfied. I wish the start up wasn't as clumsy, and the initial visit/pricing didn't feel like a bait and switch, but it was worth it.

Our bathroom caulking was in need of some TLC and Interstate Remodeling did the trick. The provider was on time, courteous, and performed the work as advertised. He did offer us additional services for an additional cost, but was willing to perform the work as specified in the deal.

The work was well done. However, what it was offered in the details is not what you get. It is confusing that they mention an area in square feet but only provide linear feet of caulk. when I asked about the tiles area, they said it was not part of the deal.
You just need to make sure you understand what they will actually do.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a nice job. They came on time. There were two guys and they were pleasant and did a nice job. They were friendly and competent. The interaction was good. I spent extra because my square footage was bigger.

It was fair. It just didn't seem like they did what we expected them to do. The work just wasn't as satisfactory as we expected. They tried to clean the tile and it really didn't come out that well. We were a little disappointed. Actually, I think we thought they would do a lot more than what they did. We felt like we didn't really have a clear understanding upfront of exactly what they were going to do.

I purchase the Big Deal on Angie's List for a shower caulk cleaning for three showers. After the initial appraisal, he determined that we had a mold problem in the wall of one of our showers and recommended replacing the drywall and tiles. Interstate Remodeling Services were difficult to reach and only called back after repeated attempts. Apparently, the company is a single person with some ad hoc assistants and the Big Deal offer overwhelmed his company. Once an appointment was scheduled, he did not show up. Upon a second appointment, he was several hours late. His work was satisfactory, but his lack of ability to maintain a schedule hurts his reputation.

Initial scheduling of work went smoothly. Repairman arrived a bit late but started work immediately. Informed me of what the $109 would and would not cover. We agreed on a price for remaining grout work. The hitch came when he had to come back to finish the job. We had to reschedule several times due to other commitments that he had that kept coming up. I prefer a job to be completed in a timely manner. Work was reasonably satisfactory but not all the areas that we discussed would be cleaned were actually cleaned. In the end, I was ready to be finished and just let it go. The basic job was completed and the back and forth was not worth insisting on a better quality of service.

So, this turned into a $700 job with nothing done to the grout. But before we even got there, we had to contact him repeatedly for him to even show up. The first time, he was a complete no-show. The second time, we had to call him the day of the appointment which he had clearly forgotten.

It went well. I just thought maybe some of the grout would be cleaned up as well.
