FRED'S EXPRESS SERVICE

Highly recommend. We had a two-part move including a piano and a huge desk that had to get maneuvered out of a small room and up around a stairwell to an upstairs room. Not easy. They do great work, are responsive time wise, and a small neighborhood business. We will use them again and highly recommend.

He did an excellent job. My sister and I needed to move furniture from our mother's house in Woodbridge to each of our homes. (Woodbridge and Arlington). We were on a time crunch as we needed to get the furniture out before the sell of the house. Fred was able to accommodate us on the date that we needed and gave us a good price. He called the night before to confirm the appointment and arrived on time, and even a bit early.

He and his assistant took great care in moving the antiques which were heavy and difficult to move. He also coordinated moving the items from one location to the two other locations well. Everything was handled efficiently and the furniture arrived at our homes without a scratch.

We will definitely use Fred's service again.

One Saturday, I bought a beautiful dining room table at an estate sale without really considering how I would arrange to get it to my house when the sale closed the next day (yes, brilliant move on my part). I wondered this aloud, and thankfully a very kind lady mentioned Fred's Express Service to me. I called them around noon that day and Fred was extremely responsive and helpful, even though it was a Saturday. I was THRILLED that they were able to pick up the table and move it for me on a Sunday. This isn't something I'd usually request of someone; it's really going above and beyond normal customer service. I will definitely be calling them again the future!

As stated above, Fred picked up furniture from a store and delivered it to our house. Crate and Barrel (outlet in Alexandria) gave us his name and number. I called him and he delivered the furniture the same day. He was personable and when he knew he was going to be late he called us to let us know. It was very easy and low stress.
