I spent about $8K on a new bedroom set from this store. The furniture was promised in about 8 weeks and I made it clear that I did not want partial delivery of the order - everything needed to come at once. When they came with the furniture, the bed was not on the truck. They guys with the truck just gave me a dumbfounded look and said this kind of thing happens all the time and it regularly irks their customers. Great. 16 weeks later, I still don't have the bed. They offered to refund the balance of the bed until it arrives and also give me a 10% discount; however, they didn't actually live up to this offer and to date, I still don't have either the refund or the discount. The combination of poor communication within this company and the lack of knowledge of their sales staff as to how orders are actually processed has made this entire shopping experience a tiresome drudgery. Unless I call them on a regular basis, I feel as though I'm forgotten (they have my money after all). I do not recommend shopping at this store. They don't deserve your business for these prices.

We were looking for a captain's chest / dresser with shelves and drawers to replace an old and not very organized book shelf in our bedroom. We had been using the shelf to store sweaters and other clothing and knew it was time to make the change. Finding the right piece was not easy but Ethan Allen had it and we went over to the showroom; the consultant helped us find some pieces in the same style and showed us the different wood choices. She was very helpful but not pushy and gave us time to wander on our own. There was a difference in the price that came up on her screen and the price that I had gotten on their website and she made sure that we paid the lower price that I had seen on the web. She estimated that it would take 4-6 weeks but the dresser came in 3. The two men that delivered the dresser were amazing. The thing weighs a ton and they got it up the stairs and around a tight corner without touching the walls or scratching the wood floors. The one man had the most soothing voice when talking them up the stairs. We were very impressed.
